I Gots Terrible Fever discussion

Hello all! It's almost that time! In 3 months we will be finally getting a Terrible fix! (Squeeeee!) It feels like it's been so long and on March 27, 2012 we will finally get some medicine to help us with our Terrible Fever. I thought it would be fun for our members to start chatting about the book. Yes this will all be speculation, but let's have some fun! What are you guys looking forward to in the next book? What do you think will happen? Will we get to see the words Chessiebomb in print again? Oh gosh I just had some Downside talk pop up in my head and I miss it so much! There will also definitely be another discussion added when the book is out so we can chat some more then. So lets talk!

I want to see a bit of Chess/Terrible domestic bliss before everything falls apart again -- it's Chess, let's be realistic here.

Haha! You are so right Chelsea. I hope they get some happiness and we get to see that tender side of Terrible again. *swoony sigh*

I agree with Chelsea. Thanks to me being a romance lover and reader, I have to train myself to NOT expect the HEA with those two. I need more of Bump. He cracks me up. He's such a likable pimp. haha! I wonder if I have time for a re-read? Or at least read some of the scenes between Terrible and Chess.

Bump cracks me up as well! I would like to re-read as well. I loved that City Of Ghosts has so many OMG moments.

I think an eventual HEA is probable, but it's going to be rocky getting there. With more angry sex.

in Sacrificial Magic I want to see them funcioning together as a couple, doing simple things like dinner with beers and watching TV and doing laundry and driving in the car listening to ear-busting music (i like that kind of music).

All the things they stopped doing while Terrible was giving Chess the "silent treatment" and all the things she missed......

I hope Chess doesn't screw up too bad in Sacrificial Magic. I do not want her and Terrible to have a ton of trouble. Especially unforgivable trouble as in her cheating or something terrible!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't understand how Lex even has a chance because she never had feelings for him the way she did for Terrible. He was never in her mind the way Terrible was.

I think it's almost a given that something is going to go terribly wrong between them...what I hope is that no matter what happens they can get through it intact and together again.

I finished City of Ghosts (re-read the whole series). My Terrible fever is all revved up for Sacrificial Magic. *sigh* That ending scene...oh, I hope they don't mess up their relationship too quickly into SM. I can't wait to see them together.

I just read that too Solaire, I got in in an email. It was fantastic. You'll be happy Marina and Chelsea, we get to see some great scenes of them together, MMMM hot sex lol.
I was worried that Chess would screw things up again, but after reading Home I now have 100% faith in her. She knows how badly she treated him and is going to do everything in her power to make him trust her again. She loves Terrible so much and realises that he is the most important thing in her life. I don't think even Chess will be stupid enough to mess that up. It was a great little story, and I hope we get to see so much more of them together in Sacrificial Magic. I'm desperate to get in now!

I read Home, as well. Loved it! Hot sex and sweet moments. It was sooo nice to see how much Chess has changed due to loving and being loved by Terrible. So nice to see them just being a couple together.

I don't even want to speculate about what happens in SM, because no matter what I think, it will either be better or things will get messed up in ways I can't even imagine (I really hope that it doesn't!).

Home was a good little story, that made the waiting a tiny bit easier. But just a little. :-)

I see that some of you super lucky peeps already have your hot little hands on SM, but what about the rest of us? I pre-ordered my nook copy 2 weeks ago..... can't wait, it'll be just like Christmas morning!! So, my question is... How many of you pre-ordered? How many heading out on release day/ week? How many will just get it when you get it?

I pre ordered it for my Kindle right after I finished the first three ... so back in (I think) October. I may have to take that day off work. ;-)

I agree! It should just go ahead and be a national holiday.

So I've also been trying to figure out the city she's basing Triumph City on. Does anyone know? Or have guesses? She's said before that it's not NYC. Seems Philly - or an alterna Detroit near an ocean. :)

Rereading them has been crazy. I think I kind of glossed over her completely horrible effed up childhood. I mean, I knew about it, but I was so caught up in Terrible that it didn't dawn on me how broken she really was. Poor Chess.

It's funny what you catch the 2nd time around. I got clarity on stuff that I was wondering about. Just started UM this morning. I'm still loving the hell out of the whole story!

Loving it too - not too many stories hold up on multiple, obsessive rereads!!

I am almost done with UM, and COG is lined up for this weekend, which I absolutely need to reread. I definitely remember not a thing beyond the bar bathroom scene, because I pretty much passed out at that point.

I am listening to them for the first time, but my 3rd re-read. On UM now, and it stresses me out because I know what is coming. :-/

I am bad, and read a little spoiler about SM ... now I am stressed about that too! Arg.

Anyway, yes I know where Triumph City is, I don't want to just blurt it out, but if you message me I will tell you. :-)

Don't be stress, Laura. I've read it. There are parts that are crushing -- but that goes for anything Chess is part of -- but some of it is EPIC.

I promise, you'll grin more than once when reading SM.

Oh God thank you. :-)I read a little something, and was sick. Now I know it gets better will make it easier to get through.

As long as there is a happy ending I don't mind all the ups and downs! After reading the first three chapters at Stacias' page I'm pretty sure that Chess is going to be nervous and insecure as never before because now her actions affect Terrible too......

Tomorrow's the big day...Woo Hoo!!
