What is your passion? Is it environment-related? Perhaps it's just reading, or perhaps it's writing. We don't always know what we're passionate about, but we do what we enjoy. Perhaps it is game-strategy, or something simpler. Whatever your passion is, you can tell us. Some people might even suggest a good book towards your passion!

message 6: by Kelson (new)

Kelson Hargis | 17 comments I gave this post a lot of thought (something that I like about this group). I would have to say that my passion is truth. I am a huge conspiracy theorist. I love all things supernatural, ghosts, UFOs, etc. and it is all because I want to know the truth about things and the world. I think that is why I write as well. Every time I finish a story I feel like there is a bit of truth in it about the human condition (hopefully). That is why I am an analyst as well I guess. I see a set of data and want to know what it is telling me :)

Julius (bookseeker007) | 1781 comments Mod
I like a good conspiracy, too, Kelson. But I like them yet the more when they are found to be true. The truth is a great passion to have.

Woah that's precisely what I was thinking. I have a passion for that too. And particularly in trying to get past the surface issues that people bring up. I'd rather talk about the condition than the symptoms so to speak. It irks me when people talk about issues from a surface perspective.

Well, I it irks you, tell them. But yes, truth is the best sort of passion anyone can have. Just ask the sky-it oversees all the biggest detail, the good and bad.

And what's beyond the sky, the solar system, what's beyond that - the galaxy, what's beyond that - space, what's beyond space...

Iesha (In east shade house at...) (emberblue) | 58 comments My passion is animals-I love everything about them and couldn't live in this world without them. I also believe I have a passion for helping others.

Cool.

I uses to have a passion to help others..... Might have faded away if I had never made this group.. ;)

(Anyway, onto happier things!) I love animals too!! I hope someday people who hate animals learn to respect ad care for the environment so that every generation can learn to keep the worlds of animals and humans in peaceful conditions. Not this destroying of nature we witness everyday..

message 20: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer Priester (jenniferpriester) I have a lot of passions! First of all I love animals (any and all, this even includes bugs), and horseback riding which I love doing anything on horseback (trail rides, playing games, riding English or Western, doing a little show jumping, cross country, dressage...), then I also love reading, and TV watching, movies, and playing video games. I also of course love to write books. I also have this weird passion for books about time travel, alternate dimensions, any inanimate objects coming to life, and superheroes. I also love drawing and going outside.
If anyone ever knows of books relating to any of the things I have mentioned you can suggest them to me at any time. I am always on the lookout for new books to read.

message 25: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer Priester (jenniferpriester) I actually do like spiders, at least when I'm not getting bit by them. I currently have somewhere around 5 nonbiting spiders living in various parts of my room and 1 or 2 biting ones. Basically I allow spiders to live in my room as long as I'm not getting bit by them and they aren't bothering my dog. To try to make sure these two things don't happen I sometimes try to catch and release the spiders that are in parts of my room where I have a chance of catching them.
I try to catch and release most of the bugs I find except the occasional bee or wasp whose fates I leave up to my dad since these bugs are very hard to capture without the possibility of them stinging upon being released although I have successfully released a few with no problems.

Whoop! ENGLAND!
But anyway. I play harp fairly well. Well enough. Technically I'm meant to be composing right now... Being a male harpist does seem to get one recognised more easily by musical people, such as the amazing Mr. Dominic. Peckham. (He's cool. Look him up if you want proof.)

message 50: by Dee (last edited Nov 30, 2013 10:41AM) (new)

Dee Sauter (indeathaddict) Wow all these cool passions that everyone has. I guess my passion is reading. I usually read a book a day. When I was going to college and working full time, I still managed to read, for fun, two to three books a week. If I can't read them, because I am busy doing other things I listen to audios. I volunteer at the library, especially the READ program, in which my Yorkie, Stewart Little (Stewie), listens to children read. It helps them with their reading and public speaking skills. I also moderate a couple of groups. Before my church stopped putting on plays I use to act in them. I also taught school, and I love to write.
