I overall enjoyed the book, but I have to concur. The ending was a swing and a miss at a cliffhanger. It was to unbelievable that it left me mad but not hooked. If your looking for a great book with a good cliffhanger, read Ashes by Ilsa J Bick.

*Me in shock, open mouthed*
*Quickly goes to turn the next page to read next chapter*
"THERE IS NO NEXT CHAPTER!?"

It was just such a major twist in the plot!!! I never expected Jane to be a REAL LIVE PERSON!!!!!!
Do you think that maybe they made like a robot clone version of Jane?

No, in an interview, Robison Wells stated that when he layed out his plans for a trilogy, his publisher said he had two completed books and half a third book. So he decided to put all his favorite ideas into the two books. It sucks....but at least he didn't just write a crappy third novel with fluff to fill in the blanks.

How do you know this new Jane isn't just another android? That's the very first thing that popped into my head when I saw the ending. And this farm community is probably another experiment setting... I have to get the second book. But I can see this happening.
