Because if they're isn't a stable/safe and friendly environment, people may be less inclined to join. I think it's important for all groups to have friendly environments! :)

I am now the moderator of a group called Character Chat. Basically it's a group where regular people or characters can chat with other characters. It's open to everyone to join but having the right amount of authors to join is important for this one.

As well as characters to have fun with there is a chat area where characters are excluded.
