My tentative list* is as follows - subject to change with availability of titles and depending on what new comes out; I'm also reading out of order as they become available at the library.

Geraldine Brooks' Caleb's Crossing.

January: Dreams of Speaking by Gail Jones: my review.

February: Favel Parrett's Past the Shallows

March: Rosalie Ham Summer At Mount Hope

April: Angela Savage The Half-Child My review.

May: Stella Makes Good by Lisa Heidke

June: Melanie Joosten Berlin Syndrome my review.

Wendy James Where Have You Been?

July, Five Bells Gail Jones

August, Charlotte Wood Animal People or Y A Erskine The Brotherhood

September: Tansy Rayner Roberts Seacastle

October, PM Newton The Old School My review.

November, Malla Nunn Let the Dead Lie, Kim Westwood
The Courier's New Bicycle or Nicole Watson The Boundary

December, Eva Hornung Dog Boy My discussion here.

Other books I'm planning to read for the challenge include:

Wings of Fear by Helene Young
Kirsten Tranter A Common Loss,
Anna Funder, All That I Am
Fiona McGregor Indelible Ink
Claire Corbett's When We Have Wings

*I'm combining the AWW challenge with another challenge, the Aussie Authors with a Twist. (This means choosing a book for January that has a "J" in either the author's name or the title of the book and so on for each month of the year.)

Bree T (breeza82) | 32 comments I read Tall Man this year and found it incredibly eye opening! Will be very interested to hear your thoughts after you've finished it.

I've heard great things about it. I borrowed it from the library today, so I won't be waiting till May to read it. Then again, I borrowed over 10 books, so I don't know if I'll be able to read them all before the due date. :)

Keziah (keziahhill) | 1 comments I thought I had The Submerged Cathedral Elizabeth but it must have been in my radical throw out of 2008. Halved my book collection. I have The Tall Man and The Old School and one of Helene Young's.

That's a great list - I'm going to use some of it :) Already read and loved The Tall Man, The Old School and Animal People.

Thanks, Keziah. I managed to get SC and TTM from the library (whether I get the time to read them before the due date is another matter!). I'd love to borrow The Old School though and Helene's one. Let's catch up after the silly season. :)

That's great, Brenda. I've collected a fine lot of AWW books for my TBR pile, so I'll end up doing the same, but for now I need to do a bit of my own writing. I'll certainly be still checking out the reviews.

Brenda Good luck with your writing:)
