Harry C. | 19 comments I felt there wasnt a great ending. I think there should have been another book about wherever Eragon is going and his adventures there.

Kelsey (kelspoo) | 8 comments Honestly, I don't think they should make another book on Eragon's adventure to establish a home for the riders-to-be. I think they should continue the story from someone else's point of view, such as Nasuada, or, make a book of the series from Galbatorix's point of view. His viewpoints are very limited in this series, and i'd really like to know what was going on in his mind during this whole thing. To make another book for Eragon would be continuing on a story that was already finished, and although I agree that the ending wasn't the best, (Which explains my 4-star, which I really wanted to give a 5 star) I don't think he should continue it. It would seem like some of those books that keep writing and keep writing just because the author knows that the series is popular, and wants to make more money from it than they really should.

Just my feelings about it, sorry if it was kinda harsh (:

yhea eragon always said that he would always find out who angela was but the left it completely open it seems that the books should carry on cause i have finished the series not but a few hours ago and im really sad because its just such a cliff hangar and i wanna see what happens to eragon through death its probibly one of the best series ill ever read in my life

Sidharth Rath | 1 comments Book 5: 'Beyond Inheritance'

Eragon should get on with Arya and go on a quest to search for the next generation dragon riders and then when he returns to Uru'Baen, he finds a Country in chaos and sets for wiping out rebels and stopping alagaesia to tear apart again and encountering Murtagh(Friendly).

And Roran is a dragon rider too! :p

thats a good idea but i would like to see what happens to arya and eragon and who the next rider is

Icansaysmartstuff | 2 comments I love the compexity of the series and how it was all built up, but that is kind of let down when he just sends, eragon, ayra, roran and nassuda (don't think i spelled those right) off in completely different directions. I think he has said that he "isn't going to abandon Alagaesia" and that he might do it from Angela's perspective and the Grey Folk, but personally I think Angela is a Grey Folk (Grey person?) and that he should add Roran's daughter as a rider and that Ayra goes to see Eragon :)

Maya Avramescu (mylittlewonderland) | 3 comments Honestly, I would love a book 5. I'm a big fan of Eragon/Arya, and the fact that they weren't together in the end bugs me. Maybe it should show us who Shruikan really was in the past and have Angela's story too. It is said that she is very old.. so why wouldn't Angela be a Rider and Shruikan her dragon? Shruikan could tell Saphira and Thorn his secret before he dies. Just saying.. And maybe Jarnunvosk ( Galbatorix's first dragon ) that was supposed to be dead isn't actually dead and somehow meets Roran's daughter and, in the meantime, secretly plans to destroy Alagaesia. I could go like this forever !

Yees !! It would be interesting !

message 13: by William (new)

William Kirk (kingoftheninjas) | 1 comments Book five should be after the Riders have been established. Eragon should travel to the home of the Ra'zac with Arya and Murtagh.

message 14: by Isaac (new)

Isaac Baker | 1 comments To hear Angela's story would be awesome!

message 15: by Paige (new)

Paige C Hopefully, Eragon and Arya would get together and Eragon would train way more riders and dragons.

message 16: by Paige (new)

Paige C Or he should make another series from a rider in a new generation's point of view, one that Eragon has trained.

message 17: by Eargona (new)

Eargona | 2 comments i want him to make a book that takes place at the rise and fall of the riders, or broms story.

message 18: by War Kitten (new)

War Kitten (WarKitten) | 3 comments If he's going to be making a fifth one, I don't care who it is about, as long as it is as good as the first four (or better)! Well, I do want it to feature a lot of Eragon and Arya.

Edgar Paige wrote: "Or he should make another series from a rider in a new generation's point of view, one that Eragon has trained."

Yes! He should do that.

message 20: by Jordan (new)

Jordan Reece | 4 comments I think Eragon should be left now. Would be great to see a prequel. If not, a sequel could use what Eragon did after the series as a bit of history to the next book.

message 21: by Taqi (new)

Taqi Shah (taqbuscus) | 2 comments I think there should be one about Brom's life, like how he became a rider, fought the Forsworn, started the Varden and met Selena. That would be pretty good

message 22: by Kerrin (new)

Kerrin Mountcastle (MusicalBookworm) | 7 comments I think Christopher made it so we would make the end up ourselves so we would like the ending. Some people are saying there should be a book for Brom, but I think we should also it up.

Totally agree!

message 25: by Kristina (new)

Kristina Smith (ksmith223) | 1 comments He really left the ending open. Maybe so he would have the option of adding more later. He didn't ever say much about what Eragon would do and while it may have been for the reader to decide I think he may have been unsure what to do so he left things open. In a fifth book, if he ever wrote one, I feel like the plot wouldn't be a continuation of the story line we have had but it would either be in the far future or back to the start of all the corruption in the riders.

message 26: by Megan (new)

Megan | 3 comments I don't think that there should be another book added to the series, but if there was I would want Arya and Eragon to be together. Some of you may disagree, but I'm a huge sucker for romance and I totally thought they would have made a great pair. It's like they complete each other.

message 27: by Daniel (new)

Daniel | 2 comments If there were to be a new book, it should tell how Eragon is living in his new environment and how he is training the new riders of Alagaesia.

message 28: by Katherine (new)

Katherine | 3 comments I'd like to see a book from Arya and Nasuada's perspectives, years in the future, involving Eragon, Murtagh, Elva, and Roran's daughter.

message 29: by Katherine (new)

Katherine | 3 comments I don't think we should have a book five though. Anything new would have to be a little seperate from the original cycle.

message 30: by Emily (new)

Emily Brent | 3 comments Imagine a fifth book from angelas, murtaghs, aryas, nasuadas, and elvas perspective in a fifth book, but all in one book. It shouldnt continue eragons story, but maybe he could come back years later and see what alagaesia has become. However, I dunno if its good to continue his story that paolini already ended.

Amanda-I dream of a gallant southern gentleman watching the sunset | 6 comments I wrote Christopher Paolini a letter once, and he answered it. I didn't ask much about the fifth book he was planning, 'cause I figured he probably wouldn't answer my questions, and 'cause I wanted to be surprised. He did say however, that "And yes, you will see more of Murtagh."

message 33: by [deleted user] (new)

He is Still Planning to Do a 5th Book :D

message 34: by Matthew (new)

Matthew | 5 comments I certainly hope so! I don't care who it's about - not at all. All I know is that I read a Paolini interview once, it mentioned the FIFTH BOOK, and I've been waiting for it ever since.

message 35: by Matthew (new)

Matthew | 5 comments Heads up, Elva, Angela, Ismira, Murtagh and Nasuda are my favourites for the fifth book. And I'd also like to point out that Eragon may not have yet left Alagaësia - point being that Angela says that 'One day you will leave Alagaësia and never return'. ONE DAY. It doesn't specify if he'll leave and come back, or if he really left forever at the end, but here's hoping. It could even mean that he will, eventually, die. Not that I'm hoping for that, though.
