Does anyone have this epub?

I checked it out of the local library to read, not one of her better stories. Kind of disappointing.

I have the hardback book. It is not up to the Plum series, but it was a book that did not demand much of the reader. It was an easy read but not a captivating read.

I agree that this was not up to her standards. It seems incomplete and not well developed.

Another reason Public Libraries are so important to communities!

I agree check through your local library they may have it. Otherwise look for a hand copy at Goodwill. I found the Plum series at goodwill.

i agree completely, when the book was finished i couldnt help but think, umm what happens now? it was left in an awkward place and seemed rushed in the last few chapters.

I have read several books by Evanovich alone and with other authors. I have started this book and it is not one of my favorites. It seems that there is more of Dorian Kelly style in this story than her own.

Although still a good book, it lacks Janet's style. Her humor is what makes her books interesting to read.

I read and enjoyed this, though I agree it was not her best. I also checked it out of the library. I was glad I didn't spend a lot of money on it.

Does not measure up to her early screwball romances, but a decent romance anyway. I also got it from the library. I would not pay full price for it, but if I can pick it up secondhand, I may add it to my Evanovich library, I have all her others.

I agree. I usually enjoy her screwball romances, but this one just did not cut it. It was still a fun book, but lacked something the others all have.

I checked this out of our library. It is a light funny romance. I enjoyed it for what is was, a fun book.

Exactly!! I get the feeling that some of the reviewers/commenters are expecting great literature and not reviewing the book for what it is.

Yes! This is one of my favorites! I usually like to read series but I enjoyed this book a lot and I was satisfied when it was over. I have it listed on paperbackswap.com which is a great way to find books that don't cost anything by trading with other members.
