Here's another from Jace and clary,,
But the rest of Jace’s mind is watching the door slam behind her and seeing the final ruin of all his dreams. It was one thing to push it to this point. It is another to let go forever. Because he knows Clary, and if she goes now, she will not ever come back.

Sebastian..
The body sank without a trace, and Sebastian forgot it before it had even sunk all the way. He saw the curled fingers, bobbing in the currents as if restored to life and begging for help or at least answers, and thought of his dream. His sister, and a sea of blood.

Maryse..
Maryse took a shuddering breath. “I know I should show it to the Clave,” she said. “But they are hunting Jace. They will kill him if they find him. And yet to keep it to myself is surely treason.”

Naww Simon and Isabelle..
“Oh, shut up,” she said, and kissed him. This was marginally more successful. Simon had kissed Isabelle before. He loved the texture of her soft lips, the way his hands felt in her long, dark hair. But as she pressed herself against him, he also felt the warmth of her body, her long bare legs against him, the pulse of her blood — and the snap of his fang teeth as they came out.

More on jace and Clary..
Jace vaulted over the counter in a single movement, landing beside Clary. He knelt down and pulled her close, running his hands over her, his eyes black-gold with concern. She caught at his wrists.
“I’m all right,” she said. Her heart was pounding, her blood still singing in her veins. He opened his mouth to say something but she leaned forward and put her hands on either side of his face, her nails digging in. “I feel good,” she said, and kissed him, fierce and hard, and he kissed her back, rumpled and sweaty and bloody, and she tasted salt in her mouth though she didn’t know if it was his blood or hers.

Badass Clary..
Clary broke into a run, yanking a seraph blade from her belt as she went. “Nakir!” she cried, vaulting up onto the counter, and flung herself from the top of it as her weapon exploded into brightness. She landed on the Vetis demon, knocking him to the ground. One of his eel-like arms snapped at her, and she sliced it off with a whipsawing motion of her blade. More black blood sprayed. The demon looked at her with red, frightened eyes.
“Stop,” he wheezed. “I could give you whatever you want —”
“I have everything I want,” she whispered, and drove her seraph blade down.

Sexy magnus...
“What have you done to my cat?” Magnus demanded, returning to the living room carrying a pot of coffee, with a circle of mugs floating around his head like a model of the planets rotating around the sun. “You drank his blood, didn’t you? You said you weren’t hungry!”

Clary and Sebastian...
“Why did you?” Clary asked.
“Why did I what?”
“Help me back there.”
“You’re my sister.”
She swallowed. In the morning light, Sebastian’s face had some color in it. There were faint burns along his neck where demon ichor had splashed him. “You never cared that I was your sister before.”
“Didn’t I?” His black eyes flicked up and down her. “Our father’s dead,” he said. “There are no other relatives. You and I, we are the last. The last of the Morgensterns. You are the only one left whose blood runs in my veins, too. You are my last chance.”

Simon and Isabelle..
Simon, I’ve been trying to call you but it seems like your phone is turned off. I don’t know where you are right now. I don’t know if Clary already told you what happened tonight. But I have to go to Magnus’ right now and I’d really like you to be there.
I’m never scared but I’m scared for Jace. I’m scared for my brother. I never ask you for anything, Simon, but I’m asking you now. Please come.
—Isabelle.

City of Lost Souls Special Content
Lots of people have been asking me about what special content might turn up in City of Lost Souls (everyone’s getting used to the crazy special content thing, I think.) There is a lot of it this time — four different editions. And even though I don’t have the information for any foreign editions (except Canada!) yet, this is what I do know:
Special Content:
IN THE US:
BARNES AND NOBLE will be carrying their own special edition. It will contain a letter from Stephen Herondale (Jace’s real father) to Jace, written before he died. It will be detachable and affixed to the back of the book.
WALMART will be carrying its own special edition. It will contain the short story “A Dark Transformation” about how Jonathan Morgenstern took over the identity of Sebastian Verlac.
COSTCO will be carrying its own special edition. It will contain “The Act of Falling”: the “alleyway kiss” from City of Fallen Angels from Jace’s perspective.
Target will be carrying its own special edition: the short story “A Question of Power” in which Alec and Camille talk about Magnus and his father.
In Canada:
INDIGO/CHAPTERS will be carrying the same special edition as BARNES AND NOBLE in the US. COSTCO CANADA will be carrying the same edition as COSTCO US.
In Australia/In the UK:
Still waiting on this info.
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————-
***As far as I know, no special content comes with e-books/kindles/nooks. [Because no one expects anyone to buy more than one copy of the book, ALL THIS SPECIAL CONTENT WILL BE POSTED ONLINE AFTER AN EXCLUSIVITY PERIOD OF BETWEEN 3-6 MONTHS. So just pick whichever you think you’d like to own/would be your favorite, and know you can read the others online for free down the road.]

Valentine’s day cut scene #1
Jace and Clary. Cut from the final draft of City of Lost Souls.
Jace set what he was holding down on the windowsill and reached out to her. She came to lean against him, and his hand slid up under her t-shirt and rested caressingly, possessively, on the small of her back. He bent to kiss her, gently at first, but the gentleness went quickly and soon she was pressed up against the glass of the window, his hands at the hem of her shirt — his shirt —
“Jace.” She moved a little bit away. “I’m pretty sure people down there in the street can see us.”
“We could …” He gestured toward the bed. “Move…over there.”
She grinned. “You said that like it took you a while to come up with the idea.”
When he spoke, his voice was muffled against her neck. “What can I say, you make my thought processes slow down. Now I know what it’s like to be a normal person.”
“How … is it?” The things he was doing with his hands under the t-shirt were distracting.
“Terrible. I’m already way behind on my quota of witty comments for the day. ”

CoLS Teaser
“Hey, little brother.” It was Sebastian’s voice, floating under the door. “Is it done?”
There was a long silence. Then Jace’s reply, oddly flat and colorless. “It’s done.”

oh jace :( please dont blame yourself like you do with everthing else this is sebastians fault!

Why the hell does sebastian call him little brother! Ugh no way is my jace related to that

Sebastian calls Jace "little brother" probably because SPOILER Jace thought he was Valentine's son and Sebastian really is, and in COG after Jace kills Sebastian Jace says "guess we got the same present for our 9th birthday big brother" and the end of CoFA Sebastian says " you and I are one now little brother"
Lol I know why It was just a rehtoricle question- I was pisses off because I hate sebastian :)
haha well he is a villain , i guess the way he pisses us off is what makes him such a good character
Im on my owe cause I like sebastian I don't like what he has done but I think I Like him as a character
i do like him as a character i mean his hot and very persuasive but i then again what he did to max and what he said to alec about his homosexuality really makes me hate him- lol its love hate relationship

"was it just to show how evil sebastian is or did it have some other purpose!? can anyone read between the lines better than I have? " well clare said that she had to kill of max to show in war people die and are left mourn their loved ones death, you cant have a war and have no one to die

“Clary glanced up as Sebastian drew his hand away from her back. Light blazed around them. Jace had taken out his witchlight runestone. He grinned at her, his face all angles and shadows in the harsh, focused light.
“Easy is the descent,” he said.”

Jace turned his head to look into Alec’s eyes. “I never thought I’d fight on the opposite side of a battle from you,” he said. “Never.”
I think I'm going to cry!!

This time, when Clary rang the bell, instead of finding themselves in the dark corridor before the Queen’s chamber, she and Simon landed in a dank, mildew-smelling cave, the walls trickling with cold water, the ground muddy and brown beneath their feet. Several passages led off what seemed to be the main chamber. As she turned, Clary’s boots slipped on the wet stone, and she caught Simon’s arm to steady herself.
He was glancing up, looking around at the walls of the cave, his dark eyes curious. He put a hand to the stone and took it away, showing her the way his palm was shining. “Look,” he said. “Phosphorescent moss.”`
“Faeries used to use it to make torches,” Clary said, remembering her Codex. “That, and trapped will-o-the-wisps in glass.”
“Come on.” Simon tugged her gently forward toward one of the darkened passages that tunneled into the wall.
“Do you know where you’re going?”
“When in doubt, head upward,” he said. “I learned that in Boy Scouts. Besides, I can see perfectly well in the dark.”
“So can I, if I make a night vision rune — oh!” Clary gasped, and they both came to a halt as Meliorn appeared before them, his white armor shining like witchlight in the dimness. There was an unpleasant expression in his pale eyes.
“So you have returned to our lands, human and liar,” he said to Clary. “You are either very brave or very stupid to desire to come before the Queen after the trick you attempted to play on her.”
“I wouldn’t say it was an attempt,” said Clary. “Last time I looked, it worked.”
“Yeah,” said Simon. Clary glanced sideways at him, and he shrugged. “Just backing you up.”
“What prevents me killing you here and taking the prize from you?” Meliorn inquired, emotionlessly.
“Two things,” Clary said, ticking them off on her fingers. “One, I don’t have it on me. He does.” She indicated Simon. “Good luck trying to kill him. Two, if you do, the Queen will never find out what I wanted, and you know she’s curious. If she wasn’t, she would have taken the whistle away from me, not let me keep it.”
Meliorn sighed. “You are the worst kind of stupid. The kind that thinks it is clever. Very well, little human Nephilim. Follow me. Perhaps, if you are lucky, the Queen will let you live.” He turned and stalked off down the passage.
“Remember when we thought faeries were little creatures who lived in toadstools and wore buttercup hats?” Clary looked over at Simon as they both began to follow the faerie knight. “Wasn’t that awesome?”
Simon grinned, a flash in the darkness, and squeezed her hand.

Alec’s eyes flew open, their blue darkening, and for a moment, Clary remembered the boy who had hated her when she first arrived at the Institute, the boy with bitten nails and holes in his sweaters and a chip on his shoulder that seemed immovable. “I know you’re upset, Clary,” he said, his voice sharp, “but if you’re suggesting that Iz and I care less about Jace than you do —”
“I’m not,” Clary said. “I’m talking about your parabatai connection.”
