Zahra stepped closer to the doors; she was just about to grasp the brass beast by the ears when the doors pushed themselves open. She took a step back, the open doors revealed a spacious room. It was dark like the outside; the only light was something that was glowing in the background. There was a platform; standing on it was what appeared to be a parson. In from on the platform and parson was a man. He was nicely dressed in a black suit. His back faced the entrance from whence she came. Zahra proceeded down the aisle. A carpet was laid out for her. It was charcoal-grey like her dress and dusted with ash. Only she and these two men were in this chamber. Hesitantly, Zahra strode the carpet. She got up to the platform to meet the man who stood there. He turned to face her. He stretched a charming smile across his face, lightening his chiseled cheeks... He opened his mouth and began to recite the vows. Every motion that took place seemed to drag by slowly... Zahra looked into the man's eyes again, and when she did, he burst into flames... Her gaze did not leave her burning groom, nor did her mind abandon the fact that he was not consumed by the flames.
