Okay it's that time again. What would you like to read in March as a group read?

Before you Nominate you MUST read THIS.

It should answer any questions you have about nominating and leading a discussion.

Thanks,
Tera

Are there just too many other reads going on or group reads desire falling or you all want to read one of these three?

Elizabeth (Alaska) Tera, I think a lot of people probably never saw this. Have you tried sending a broadcast message to the group that nominations are open?

It is interesting though that the stats (as of me making this post) say that 49 people have viewed this thread. There was an additional nomination a few days ago, for a book that I had never heard of but that sounded interesting, but it seems that nomination has been deleted.

Are some ladies hesitant to nominate a book because you are nervous about having to lead the discussion? Please don't let that scare you off. We welcome nominations from members old and new alike, so even if you have never led before, or if you have led one or several times in the past years, please don't hesitate to nominate a book you love, and if it wins the vote, just keep a discussion going about the book.

Or, if nobody else wants to nominate, we can go with one of these three (thank you Gillian, Julie, and Sherin for nominating them). :o)

I haven't but I'm always unsure about sending out group wide broadcasts. I don't want to become annoying with multiple group emails.

I think perhaps the buddy reads, classic club, chunky reads are taking up so much of peoples reading time it just becomes one more thing. Which I totally understand, as much as we all love reading most of us don't have the time to read as much as we would want.

Bookworm Adventure Girl (bookwormadventuregirl) I would like to nominate Night Road by Kristin Hannah. This has been on my TBR list for a while!

Jayme(theghostreader) (jaymetheghostreader) I saw that one, it was recommended to me through Goodreads.

A Short History of Women by Kate Walbert

Irene | 4577 comments Woops, can't type when I am being called away. I can't walk and chew gum at the same time and now I know that I can't think and talk at the same time (actually, people have been telling me that for years, most every time I open my mouth).
Yes, that is the book
A Short History of Women by Kate Walbert

Tera is having some computer issues, so I have created the poll for voting for March's Group Read.

The poll can be found at the bottom of the homepage, or by following this link:
