Summer 2012 is all about mysteries! What is your favorite mystery novel or novels? What is appealing about mysteries? I will add titles suggested to a 2012 Teen Mysteries booklist!

Rose Ramon (rramon) | 13 comments The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting. I don't usually read mysteries but this one was wonderful. The main character can sense the dead in the ground and knows when they are not at peace. It all starts when she finds a body as a child...

Kayla | 5 comments I have read (or actually listened to) the first two books in The Agency Series by Y.S. Lee. The author really pays attention to London in the Victorian era, and you can really get the feel of how society and life helps and hinders the main character in solving her cases (although it is more espionage than mystery in the first novel). I really enjoyed the relationship between the main character and the unexpected help she receives from James Easton. The narrator is also wonderful.

Ashley | 9 comments I know it's not new, but I've been reading The Complete Tales of Sherlock Holmes. With the edition I have, it also comes with Doyle's Tales of Horror and Mystery (or something like that), that I haven't had a chance to start yet, but that I've heard is really good. Sherlock Holmes is a classic that everyone should read at least once. It never gets old!

Has anyone read "Clarity?" I thought that it was a pretty awesome mystery. I also enjoyed "The Girl Was Murder."

Lewis McDonald | 1 comments Well, I guess this is where I make my mediocre introduction to a coalition of strangers. I don't know if this group is still active but I live in Killeen and thought I would try to get my name out there. I am Lewis McDonald, I am a fantasy/action writer. I am a father of three and have been happily married for three years now. I am currently serving in the US Military and I write in my spare time.

I have created a series called Territorial War. It's a story about a country divided and is filled with 40+ characters to grow fond of or despise. I have two books out now with a third one in the final stages. If anyone on here sees this and decides to read it I genuinely hope you enjoy it. You can find all of my books here:
