As some of you may know The Hunger Games movie comes out March 23 so I'm encouraging you to read or reread The Hunger Games and to discuss it and the movie here.

To start has anyone else heard Taylor Swift's song for the movie?:

Adriana YES! AND I LOVED IT! It doesn't even sound like her.
Have you seen this?: http://capitolcouture.pn/

Ended up seeing it today with family (might go see it next weekend with friends), I thought it was fairly good and I liked Peeta better then I did in the book. Still I wasn't happy with the actors for Katniss and Gale. Also the weird camera movement made my mom sick.

So has anyone else seen it and what did you think?

Adriana I've seen it. I noticed that Katniss was much nicer. I don't think she was using Peeta like I did the first time I read the book also with Cato at the end. She also didn't seem to just worry about herself like I think she felt genuinely concerned about Peeta when they were in the games and not just concerned with her own survival. Hard to explain...

I've heard a lot about people saying they can't believe Rue was black and how they cried in the book but not the movie. First of all did you read the book!? It clearly says she is dark skinned and two wht the hell!!!? Stop being racist.

Thought it went to fast. I mean I couldn't get to know the characters that well... I mean I couldn't feel more for them then I did in the book because the movie seemed so fast.... arg. Bad explainer...

Liked how they had the behind the games thing with Seneca and the President.

The book was better but I thought the movie by itself was fantastic.
