Sorry Please Thank You: Stories
Captain Vorpatril's Alliance
There are things on here that will probably get added to the list of things I will at least want to take a look at, but I am too lazy to add them right now.
And from outside the SF/F genres: The Garden Intrigue, The FitzOsbornes at War, Moomin Every Day: Tove and Lars Jansson and the Creation of the Moomin Comic Strip.

The Wind Through the Keyhole
Dr. Sleep (if it makes it out in 2012)
A Memory of Light
The Republic of Thieves
Kitty Steals the Show
Spartacus: Morituri
The Twelve: A Novel
The Straits of Galahesh
Armored
Redshirts: A Novel with Three Codas

Those both look cool. I'm a fan of Scalzi and I like what he did with the Fuzzies, so I'm on-board for his take on thinly-disguised Star Trek. And Armored could be good. I'm always up for some fun short stories.
Following the links to Amazon, I noticed that Man-Kzin Wars XIII is coming out May 1st. Some of the Man-Kzin books have been rather dodgy, but overall I like the series.

One that looks quite interesting to me, though, is Energized by Edward Lerner. He's been writing those "Ringworld prequels" that are well-written but utterly pointless in the same way the Star Wars movies were. However, he does seem to be a good writer, so I'll give this one a go.

Upcoming4.me Upcoming Science Fiction and Fantasy releases
This year I want to get all the Mariner re-issues of Philip K Dick.
As for the new one, I'm definitely up for The Mongoliad by Neal Stephenson and Greg Bear.
I've read it in serialized form and it's brilliant.

The Drowned Cities - Paolo Bacigalupi (if I manage to read Ship Breaker #1 first, that is ;))
Range of Ghosts - Elizabeth Bear
The Long Earth - Terry Pratchett
Zero Point - Neal Asher
+ the second book of Fairyland by Cat Valente, of course.
I'll very likely read the new Sookie Stackhouse novel and since I'll devote a chunk of the year to re-reading WOT, I'm sure I'll pick up A Memory of Light at some point too (provided it's actually released come autumn).

I just found that this is coming out in a couple months ... it's the end of a trilogy I've been following, so, no reason not to.
Oh, and also the anthology Wilful Impropriety, from Ekaterina Sedia. It has an excellent lineup of contributors.

Blackout
Only those 2 so far for series that I actively keep up (and am completely caught up) with. I know of some books that are coming out later this year for series that I've only read the 1st in the lineup or for ones that I plan to start and haven't gotten around to yet.
So much to read, so little time...

When We Were Executioners
Boneyards
The Twelve: A Novel

Whispers Under Ground, Ben Aaronovitch
The King's Blood, Daniel Abraham
Throne of the Crescent Moon, Saladin Ahmed (reading it now and it's great)
The Drowned Cities, Paolo Bacigalupi
Caliban's War, James SA Corey
KOP Killer, Warren Hammond
Rapture, Kameron Hurley
Railsea, China Mieville
The Fractal Prince, Hannu Rajaniemi

I was interested in this until I heard Paul Kearney had been dropped and the book is now being written by someone called Mark Morris. No idea why this happened.

Here's a competition to win advance copies of his new book Redshirts!
John Scalzi Redshirts Competition Upcoming4.me
The only books I ever look forward to are Dresden. Everything else i tend to just happen upon when they get released.

It is the second book in Orthogonal series. First one was brilliant!
Here's the press release.

China Miéville - Railsea
Alastair Reynolds - Blue Remembered Earth
Is there one from Peter F. Hamilton?

I suppose you can never know unless you've read it for yourself:)

Who else can determine that besides you?
Here are ones I'm interested in, either because I've read books by these authors or they look good.

Yep, here's new by Peter F Hamilton

Beyond that, there's a ton of stuff I'm looking forward to, most of which I won't even end up reading this year, but one particular "drop everything" book is Redshirts: A Novel with Three Codas by John Scalzi.

NEW RELEASES IN FANTASY BOOKS (WITH COVERS!) - WEEK 28.5 - 3.6

Angry Robot Books ( http://angryrobotbooks.com/ )
They publish a variety of genre and seem to have many authors I haven't heard of to date, but are VERY talented.
I enjoy all my favorite authors but I REALLY like to support the new authors as much as I can.

Ali has a going trading business with three mules to carry his goods. Okay, it’s not making him rich, but he gets along. He’s also got a good wife, a child, and a beautiful slave girl who actually gets along with his wife. Life should be good.
But there are also the thieves who raid the countryside (and trading caravans) and kill anyone who tries to resist.
Oh — and some visitors from space who have a secret cave in the mountains full of strange items … and diamonds, and a problem they want Ali to solve.
Life can be so complicated, but the reward may be tremendous — if Ali can survive.

I read this when it first came out last week and loved it.

Also on my list is The Blinding Knife, The Daylight War (which may be pushed back to 2013 :( ) and hopefully a new Discworld book.
Otherwise I have no idea what else will be released this year.
