I was just looking at your info on Anne Easter Smith which was sure interesting and I wanted to comment as I just finished Daughter of York but I was unable to post. I had this problem earlier on Daphne Du Maurier group too.
I sure enjoyed the book but wanted to say keep going as the first hundred pages is kinda slow but it gets better and better as it goes along. No wonder she can write like she can with her background. I had no idea, thanks for the info.

Yes, Anne Easter Smith is really engrossed in her subject. I was amazed at the detail work she goes through to insure the historical accuracy of the details. BTW, she has a delightful English accent. :)
Glad you enjoyed the book. Sometimes it does take a while to get into the story.
Oh, I love English accents. I usually don't hang on that long anymore as I am ready to press on to the next book but glad I stuck with that one as it was excellent.

Nina, Alice was referring to the topic which I started in another section here. Below is the link to the topic: ====>

The name of the topic is: "Meeting historical novelist, Anne Easter Smith".
I guess Alice had trouble posting and ended up here instead of at the original topic. She was referring to the book called _Daughter of York_ by Anne Easter Smith.
Go to the original topic (see link above) and you will see a link to that book and also links to two other books by Anne Easter Smith.
Yes, that is exactly right. Thanks Joy and sorry to be so slow. I was having trouble posting.
