Here are some links to the first two parts (the rest still to come) of a very nice comprehensive summary of the events of the Wheel of Time cycle with all the known information from the First Age till the 'current' events. Even after two parts the recaps are still on ancient history as he second part finishes just after the Trolloc Wars and before Arthur Hawkwing. It really shows the scale of the world and the amount of backstory that forms the framework for the Dragon Reborn storyline. The write ups are done by Adam Whitehead from The Wertzone SF&F blog.

I thought they might provide a nice refresher for people (like me) who don't feel like doing a complete reread of the series before the release of the final book, A Memory of Light.

By reading those recaps I also learned some details I didn't know (or had forgotten)and made some connections I hadn't before too. Which is nice.

The recaps could even serve as a quick read for people who have no interest in starting the mammoth WoT saga for whatever reason but might be curious as to what the story is actually about.

Another site to check out is http://www.encyclopaedia-wot.org/. The site has everything: Book/Chapter Summaries, Characters chronologies. It's a has a page on every character ever mentioned in the series, organizations, items and so much more. A great site for people wanting to refresh before the finale.
