Disney should have never taken on this movie. The book was just too good for Disney.

I liked the book but I didn't think it was amazing, one of the things I liked was the ending and the twist at the end when who she really is gets revealed. And the frustration thing is that they didn't have to change it- I think the book would have translated to the screen well.

And Gregg Sulkin did not fit my mental picture of Will Wagner at all.

There was a lot of confusing parts like how come the girl was Arthur when all the clues that she discovered points to Will Wagner. So when does Will comes into the Arthurian picture?
But boy, was I surprised now that I've read the book. Ellie became Allie in the movie. The Elaine of Astolat or Lady of the Lake references were forgotten which is a pity because I had fun reading those parts. Plus, she became SHORT!
So, after reading the book, I've figured that the movie is a disappointment. And I am glad I didn't watch AFTER reading the book or else, I might've wasted a delicious box of popcorn.
I watched the movie before I read the book, and it is my absolute favorite Disney movie of ALL TIME. (I didn't like how Allie became short, because I wam a very tall person myself, but you couldn't really tell on the screen). And GREGG SULKIN = AMAZING A. WILLIAM WAGNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3<3<3

Disney should have never got of a hold of this story. -_-;

does in the book, the girl become arthur in the end?
does the teacher become mordred?
and does will's girlfriend cheat on him?
did these happen in the book?
