So much I want...no...NEED to know! Are the vamps at Embrace real? Who killed Reggie? What happened with Mike that was so bad? Why is Dylan such a crusty character? Did Tatum really do THAT with Ginger Spice? (Ha! Loved that by the way :) ) What about the Fresno vamps? And what exactly did that Hungarian broad say to Dylan? Can't wait for the next book!
So, from the first chapter of the next book, we find out Dylan is headed to the Vampire Ball? What's up with that? And what kind of trouble can she get into in New Orleans....quite a lot I expect, knowing my Dylan!
I don't want too many spoilers, but a couple of hints wouldn't hurt!
Great book...how the hell did you think of this in the first place?

From the top,
All will be answered in the following TWO books! Vamps fact or fiction, Reggie and her parts, Mike's mistakes, Dylan's thick candy shell, and more with the Fresno crew are coming up in book 2 "Endless Night" and book 3 "Sacrifice". As for our Hungarian baddie...all in good time my pretty all in good time.
The Endless Night Ball is an annual event held either in New Orleans or New York, alternating years. It is an over the top vampire convention, of sorts. The entire event lasts for three days and three nights and is chock full of music, vendors, performers, and various "formal" events each day. This year, 2012, the ball will take place in New Orleans. That is where our story takes us in "Endless Night".
Honestly, I was sick of the direction vampires were going. Sparkling, falling love and getting married, having babies, and such. Then to top it off the "following" that came along with the new "emo vamps" created an entirely new generation of over-the-top cult followers. So I took it and ran with it. Throwing in a bit of reality, a dash of humor, and a butt load of alcohol. Oh, and vampires, can't forget about vampires. Sealed the deal with Dylan Hart, our salty journalist and created the first of the Odyssey of The Occult series, "The Scene".

Wow! Endless night is a real thing? Okay...now I'm really intrigued!
I never was all up in the vamp genre. I'd read some books but not a serious fangirl (that's fan-girl not fang-girl...well...I guess that works too dunnit? :P). I have fallen for Dylan though.
As I was reading The Scene, I couldn't wait for her next line. She's a loveable smart-ass that one!
The whole sparkly thing just makes me ill. Thanks for giving us an alternative. Another thing I like is that it's not just a vamp book. It's a great mystery, there's great characters, it's funny. So much more than just vampires.
And the vampires you have are different. This whole lifestyle vamp thing is really interesting. I've never even heard of that before. Looking forward to more of that for sure.
So when do you think the next one will be ready to roll out?
The second in the Dylan Hart series should be released before the end of 2012, that is if we are all still alive ;).
Hard at work on "Endless Night" (coming fall/winter 2012) and a different series that is set to debut spring of this year.
I will keep you posted here when you can find them!
Also, you can check out the topic thread for "Upcoming Works" and find excerpts and updates for all I have going on.
Thanks
