CUPCAKES WAR READING CHALLENGE 2012 discussion

I know that some of the group read The Hunger Games during January for the Young Adult genre. Is there anyone that saw the movie yet? If so, how did you like it?

I haven't seen it yet. I really want to go but I have to find someone that has read it to go with me. My husband probably wouldn't like it!

I have read The Hunger Games and I pretty much liked it, but I will wait till it comes out in DVD to see it. :D

I am starting this book today. Yay!

Well, my son and his wife who live in Colorado went to see The Hunger Games on Friday night. They both really liked the book and said that the movie is definitely worth seeing. The review I have read sound like it is really well done.

I saw the movie Friday night, and i really liked it! It's very true to the book, and the casting is brilliant!

Oh now I really want to see it!!! I will have to send an email out to friends to see if anyone is a fan and wants to go with me! If not, I will drag the hubbie to the movies.

It was date night, so my husband had to go...lol
He's not a reader, but he really enjoyed it, and I was happy he got to see a little of why I loved the books so much!

Date night is always good. Maybe I will talk my hubbie into going too

I went with my step-son and we both liked it. The book is definitely more detailed though.

I must go see it. This weekend I have something to do every day so maybe I will have to go one night this week. So far everyone that has seen the movie has really liked it.
