Your Next Big Thing
Keep in mind when posting that everyone has different goals and what might not seem like such a "big thing" to one person, might be very significant to someone else. Post away, whatever is important to you - What's your next big thing?
I believe if you actually share a goal with others, it gives the dream more power to be achieved than if you keep it to yourself. This is also a way to get feedback and encouragement which is also empowering :-)

I'm sorry Al. Best of luck to you during this dark time.
I hope you get to take at least one fun class - you need some bright light of hope in your class schedule. Please tell me you are taking at least one fun class.....Please, even if it's not true, just tell me you are.

Have you rode on a motorcycle before? Don't forget your helmet! Have you taken college courses before?

Yes. I'm going to start a tattoo thread very soon :-)

Yes, I have ridden with others before, and I loved it. Always wear a helmet. If only to keep the bugs and other road debris from hitting you in the face. That stuff hurts. And no on the college courses, too scared. Plus, I know I have a serious problem staying focused on anything.

I've been thinking about getting a tattoo, but have no clue what kind. Maybe that's something I'll do this year.
Good luck to all going to college!

Now that you've accomplished two big things so recently, go experience the simple joys of life :-)
Oh my goodness :-) well, what is the plan for the next tattoo? When do you think you'll be able to get it?
Well, Keep us updated in the tattoo thread. Feel free to post about the tattoos you are considering (if you want to :-)
Mine is getting my parents to let me go to Tennessee for the summer to visit family.

That sounds fun :-) Do your parents not want to let you go?

AND (lol) my dad says my mom is going to be the one whose deciding how long i stay. so i have to convince her to let me go for longer o.O

I have no freaking idea lol it's going to be really hard though. Ideas are definitely welcome. :)

Good Luck J.S. I hope it gets published so I can read it in printed form. I still want to read your Portal book too :-)

I suggest a combination of two tactics: First, show that you are a responsible person and Second start bribing... Mothers Day is coming up and if her birthday is soon that could be good too. Start doing unexpected errands and chores and cater to the things she loves.

Are they Jehovah Witness? I don't know much about that belief so don't know if I can help. We may be able to hypnotize them though.

The title "The Land Beyond the Portal" just sounds so intriguing to me. I love "The Chronicles of Narnia" and the idea of entering magical places through a doorway.

As a mom I would say point out why staying longer works out better for everyone, including the cost factor.
Present your idea clearly, maturely and without whining.
Offer to call and check in daily(if possible).

Thanks. I have pointed it out. And now I'm just waiting to see if it made any impact. When I talk about it with her we usually end up fight as with everything else. I think were just to much alike haha :P

Alright! What kind of job do you have in mind? If you want to move to Boulder, Colorado and work in a small grocery story, I might be able to help you out :-)

This is why I work in a factory.

Hopefully I can stick to my plan and not get too carried away with tattoos like I did last summer :-) even though they did make me feel so great - tattoos have been a type of therapy the past year. I am just trying to slow down/cut back/take more time on any tattoo ideas that I come up with.
