Is the book readily available? Do libraries have it? If I went to a bookstore, could they order it?

Goodreads Description for The Land Beyond the Portal:
As Laura placed her left foot on the floor, something clicked and a low, humming vibration filled the room. Suddenly she was surrounded by an intense, blinding white light, and she was gone.
It's a dark, snowy night when Laura awakens at the bottom of a staircase with a horrible headache and no idea how she got there. To make matters worse, she is alone in the house, snowed in by a blizzard, with no way to call for help. While exploring the house in a desperate attempt to trigger the return of her memory, she discovers a small room beneath the basement. She steps inside, and an unknown force instantly transports her to a mysterious, pastoral land.
She finds a quaint village that at first glance seems like a peaceful place; but Laura soon learns that peace is merely an illusion. Why are terrible rumors circulating about the village's leader? Why do the villagers worship a sinister deity who bears no resemblance to her own powerful and loving God? Most importantly, will she ever remember who she is and find her way home? In her quest for answers, she uncovers a myriad of forbidden secrets that might keep her trapped in The Land Beyond the Portal.

Well, if they do you won't remember to take it back :-) I'll be sure to look into it though. Have you started using the library again? Did you pay all your fines? Did they give you a new library card or do you still have the one you had to cut up?

Do you have a Barnes & Noble Membership? If not, my dad has one that I can use. I could order it and we could both read the same copy wouldn't that be fun?
I have decided to try this book. Hope to add it to my Fall Reading Challenge. Will keep you posted :-)

Also, I'll be at Books by the Banks book festival in Cincinnati on October 20. Recognize any of those names? http://booksbythebanks.org/authors201...

i live in jersey so i can't get my book signed but i will be ordering my copy next month :)

Do you have any other books that can be gotten directly from you since I already have a copy of The Land Beyond the Portal?
... and I like that Narnia is mentioned in chapter 10 also. I love Narnia. I have a tattoo of the Narnia lampost on my left arm :-)

Awesome! Unfortunately the only "physical" book I have is the one you're reading. Vapors is only available as an ebook, and Rage's Echo isn't published yet.
When will Rage's Echo be published and will it be in printed form? Will Vapors eventually be available as a printed book?

Editing for Rage's Echo is scheduled to begin in February, and I'm guessing it will be released in both paperback and ebook formats in October 2013. My darker side definitely comes out in that one, so I think that fans of Stephen King might appreciate it. You can take a sneak peek of the first chapter here:

I'm thinking of writing a few more short stories and including them and Vapors in a collection, which, if long enough, will be published as a paperback.
