Well, if you like reading YA paranormal, then I suggest continuing. They do get better, and the romance plays out nicely. Of course, if you don't normally read these kinds of books, your opinion will probably stay the same.

I REALLY liked this series!

I really like them. I also read several books from the otherworld series. I loved them.

You should totally read the rest! They are amazing. And exciting. They get better within the series trust me! It's worth reading!

read them they do get more interesting as you go on. The third book is the best one.

I wish there was a fourth one so we could see the romance part a little better

I agree with you on that Meagan, the romance part wasn't clearly shown at the end after every thing they just been through it just ends at that. Wasn't what i quite expected.

I was very disappointed to learn that the conflict isn't over in the 3rd book. I wanted the story to really wrap itself up.

I have a feeling they are going to end up in the third book with the other trilogy series

I read a 3 parts of that book it wasn't the worst book ever. But the idea... I did NOT liked that.

romance? there will be a romance in the third book?

Personally, I HAVE to find out if she picks Derek!

On her website she said that "the summoning" trilogy and "the gathering" trilogy are the same world and I guess she is going to have the characters meet up at some point to finish the story

I say you finish out the series if you like the first two even slightly... they're great reads in my opinion!

Trust me, this is a good series/trilogy thing. I wished it would continue and explain a bit more or cement a few things, but overall a good read. Check it out, kay?

This was one of my fave series! I have to say though that the next is a lot better plus if you already read the first 2 you might as well finish it!

I know you've probably heard this before...but it's true. The third book is the best in the series. It certainly has a lot more action and a bit more romance in it than the other two! I really love this series!! But I can agree with you when I say that the first few books aren't the best in the world.

yes !! read the 3rd book its amazing , butt the first one IS THE ONE THAT BLEW ME AWAY !! i agree the 3rd book didnt end well, the author just left the story hanging ... butt in the rising kelley armstrong brought togther the characters from the dark rising series and the darkest powers triology ! cannttt wait !!

i know right but when the rising comes out then there will be more chloe and tori and simon and derek and also the people from the second series which i want to see it happen when they meet!

I'm reading the 3rd now. The 2nd did get better once they got out of the Lyle House.

Yes, I just wanted this series to go on forever after reading the third book. Damn trilogies never long enough. -_-
Then again if it went on I probably would have gotten annoyed when the plot changed eventually. Kinda like I did with HON. That series is really pissing me off.
But this is a great series to read, it wraps up quite nicely even though I wanted there to be more.

When I read the first book I thought it was knda stupid but the second and 3rd books are just amazingly awesome
