Diane U (djuseless) It's time to start nominations for June's Christian Fiction group read. I used the list of categories from the Theme thread and using Random.org, it selected:

Love Inspired Suspense

Rules:
1. Nominations are open until the 14th of the month. Rachel will let us know which book has "won" on the 15th.
2. Books must be Christian fiction, or "clean" fiction to be eligible for this read.
3. Books are chosen using Random.org to make it completely fair.
3. One nomination per person.

Nominations so far:

1. Vanishing Act by Liz Johnson - Diane
2. Missing by Lynette Eason - Lorie
3. A Christmas To Die For by Marta Perry - Barbara Ann
4. Princess in Peril by Rachelle McCalla - Rachel
5. Bounty Hunter Guardian by Diane Burke - Barbara
6. Lost Legacy by Dana Mentink - Elizabeth
7.

Lorie, I was trying to decide between the one I nominated and the one you nominated. Cool! I picked mine based on ones I have already purchased.

BTW, how do you like Amazon Prime? Is it worth it? Do you use it only for books or for movies and TV shows too?

I love it. I use it for movies, tv shows, and I get 1 free book from the lending library a month. I also like it because I get free 2 day shipping. Some of the tv shows I watched are $1.99 each. That really adds up after awhile. I think it is worth it.

Ooh, I'd love to read this one as well sometime. I'll have a think about my choice, but I may end up seconding this one :)

Rachel Brand (pixieauthoress) Okay, I'm going to nominate Princess in Peril by Rachelle McCalla. I like the idea of a modern princess story :)

I'd like to nominate Diane Burke's Bounty Hunter Guardian (November, 2011). Great book I wouldn't mind re-reading!

Diane U (djuseless) I already have 4 of the 5 nominations downloaded into my kindle! June should be a cheap month for group reads then! LOL!

Barbara (atimetolove) | 99 comments Diane, which ones don't you have -- or, perhaps I should say which one don't you have?

message 13: by Diane U (new)

Diane U (djuseless) The one Rachel nominated, Princess in Peril. It sounds good though! It's a cheap book ($3.82 for kindle) anyways but I found it funny that I don't have either book that she nominated for both group reads. LOL!

Wow, I'm impressed that I managed to nominate books you don't have, LOL! Must make a nice change :) I don't have Princess in Peril either but it's caught my eye for a while, and as you say, it's cheap on Kindle. The only LIS books I've read previously as Marta Perry's Amish ones so I'm looking forward to whatever gets chosen.

Carolyn E | 239 comments I would like to nominate Blue Moon Promise by Colleen Coble.

I am about 2/3 of the way through this book and really enjoying it.

Carolyn, unfortunately Blue Moon Promise by Colleen Coble does not meet the theme for this month which is Love Inspired Suspense. Although it does sound like a good one, and I have an autographed copy, you will have to make another selection. Sorry! :(

Rachel Brand (pixieauthoress) And the winner is... #2: Missing by Lynette Eason! Thanks for nominating it, Lorie :)
