My fav Twilight book is Eclipse.

Mine is either twilight or breaking dawn I tried reading the host but it was confusing so I gave up

Oh it was very confusing at first! But when I got through the whole confusion, I cried like a baby and couldn't stop reading. I finished it in a day~

Lol I don't think I'm into the whole alien type thing! I've read some outer space book and none where too great I think I'm more of a modern myth type girl!

I love this series too. I've read Twilight three times and the rest twice each...and I NEVER reread books. This series is what got me started reading YA.

Twilight was like the first YA novel i had read.. I hadnt really been much of a reader before then.. I read it almost 4 years ago for a grade 8 book report and i LOVED IT. I read the rest of the series and that was the start to my love of reading.. Without twilight i dont even know if i would have read all of the YA books i have read

I won't get into this discussion much. Twilight was the first Paranormal series I read so I'll always love it for getting my interested in Paranormal.

BUT

I now hate it. I think it's rubbish. Bella is the worst character ever and to be honest I think it's really poorly written. You wouldn't even think The Host was the same author because it's written so much better

Twilight was not my first YA but it was my first paranormal romance kind of thing, I never really loved that genre. I just read it to see what the fuss was about. The first book is I guess my favourite.
@Kay even I didn't believe The Host was written by Meyer!!! It was so different and better!

I've retread it a few times, and I really like it because of the romance. I'm a sucker for anything with that type of thing. :)

Twilight deserves to be place right beside the Hunger Games and Harry Potter series. All the haters are the "rationalizers" wherein they say that Twilight sucks because vampires don't sparkle, Bella is emotionless, etc. Most of them have not read Twilight but I have and I can honestly say that I loved reading it. It's what got me to start my book addiction.

@ Pamela - Good point you got there. Also Vampires are fiction, sparkling or not it's still the same.

Random: I'm amazed with Breaking Dawn pt. 2 movie. That was an epic finale. :)

But they still gave a bad rating and it sort of pisses me off...i think it was the best too and Kristen's acting was actually good. I thought the twist was creative.

I must watch the movie, but I guess my friend will get the blue-ray so I will watch it with her! Can't wait to see this "twist" you guys talk about

Well, it was sort of a facepalm moment, but I am glad that it is just another facepalm moment! The ending shocked me! Have fun watching!

Oh well after my exams, actually excited for this movie

@ Harshini- There's a certain scene of Breaking Dawn pt.2 that will shock you. When I watched it, I almost ran out of the cinema. (good thing I didn't)

I loved twilight! The books were the best but the movies only JUST got acceptable! I mean the twilight movie was really bad and Kristen Stewart made me hate Bella

I so agree! It makes me *nostalgic (is that the right word? LOL) in a blink of an eye, my teenage hood has come to an end :(

I do love the books more than the movies (the reason why I read the series 8 times, hmm :/) I'm okay with Kristen with her previous movies, but she doesn't really portray Bella though, that I have to say. Still, I'm okay with her. Haha!

THG will get over too soon :( But that's why they are making so many book adaptations I guess. I am hearing of too many now. I heard Delirium(I think) is going to be a TV series

Holy what?! I still have yet to read the book. I guess directors ran out of ideas heh? haha...There are pros and cons on adapting movies from books, the biggest con is that readers have such a high expectation!

Pamela, like what Harshini said, it was an amazing book, you should read it! It was totally different from the TTS series, so much more adventurous in my opinion, the book is sad in general :P

Yes! Her writing is really sophisticated, and I think she portrayed Wanda and Melanie so perfectly! They are too diverse to live in the same body but somehow Meyer managed to make them work. Amazing.
