Yul, I am lousy with trivia, so the Neverending Quiz...well, I'm lousy at it.

I know Alice loves it and does really well on it (kudos, Alice).

Yui, Alice is amazingly well read. While I am well read, I don't have her memory. :(

Yui (ilovegrendel) wow, IT'S ALL ABOUT MEMORY-NO WONDER I SUCK.

I know very few of the books and had to read all of Twilight in order to attempt to answer the many questions on that series alone but I have discovered I have incredible ESP on some of the questions. You can also google to get some of the answers. I actually have a poor memory due to autoimmune disorder so I know its all about ESP! Just read the question slowly and give yours a chance to kick in. I also have something psychologists call "test taking ability" and I guess that helps too.
I have learned absolutely tons already here and I am currently reading Room with a View as lots of questions about it on the quiz. I saw the movie long ago which I liked but believe me the movie is way better than the book. The characters are super silly but its the hang ups of their times I guess.
Everyone has ESP so give it a try.
Alice

I'm with Yui. If I read a book last month, I probably would not get the answer right. We only have so much short term and long term memory--and I must use mine up very quickly.

Court Yes, I know about the never-ending quiz. I guess on all the questions I dont know. It usually works.

message 9: by Yui (new)

Not for me, Courtney. I hate to say that, must have bad test guessing skills. I'm like Yui, not much of a guessing kind of person.

Elena | 31 comments I like the Never-Ending Quiz but honestly, I'm hopeless at remembering little details like "What was the colour of the cat the protagonist finds one day while going home after school" or the like. Besides, I'm not a details-oriented person (what is the English for this? Is there a word to express this at all?). And I don't like to cheat and check the Net, so I just skip the question!

for-much-deliberation ... (formuchdeliberationreads) The quiz is fun but just like you Elena there are certain details I just dont remember, just got to make a wild guess.

My guesses are always wrong. :(

We should all start adding questions to the quiz. It would be fun to see them there.

I never remember eye color or things like that either. Its so pointless but you will find they are obsessed with Edward Cullens eye color on the quiz. I now realize that is an indicator of whether he just fed or not. Gold if he just fed and black if he is hungry.

Clarice (clariceasquith) | 1 comments Hello everybody...I just love the never-ending bookquiz, but I am getting a little frustrated with the amount of Twilight-raletd questions.

I have the feeling that a number of Goodreads members might experience the same. What are your feelings about this?

Also, is there anywhere on this site, where members have gotten together in order to take some concerted action, i.e. mass postings of non - Twilight related questions...

message 16: by [deleted user] (new)

I read all 4 books so I could answer the questions but you can click on My Trivia top left to answer questions only about books you have read.

message 17: by Lisa (last edited Jan 16, 2009 06:21AM) (new)

Lisa I love to play the quiz, but has anyone came to the questions posted by someone named Zach? He purposely asks questions about Twilight and not the Vampire related one. It is a trick question and it gets really tiresome. I think he should play fair so I just thought I might warn everyone I can. The questions mostly have 2 right answers and despite how one feels about the book that just isn't right.

L, That breaks the rules for multiple choice. Do you think he does this deliberately or that he thinks only one is the right answer?
Jess

message 19: by Lisa (new)

Lisa No its deliberate and he has a lot of such questions. The thing is he hates thre book Twilight and is making a point that there is this Nobel Prize winning book by the same name.
