((Start what?))

((the rp. u start this time, since i started the last time. should we make new characters? or keep the old ones and make them act differently? or what?))

Alex walked around town.

((and I'll use Eli still.))

Eli walked around the city looking at passersby. They all seemed so interesting.

Eventually Alex found a comic book store that looked promising, and he walked in.

Eli got bored and saw a bench that was conveniently outside a comic book store. She sat down and watched people from there.

Alex flipped through the rows and rows of comics.

Eli had her cell phone and decided to call her best friend Jess to come meet up with her.

Alex bought a couple of comics, then exited the store.

Eli saw a boy come out the comic store and was on the cell phone with Jess, "Hey Jess come meet me outside the comic book store and make it snappy."

Alex noticed a bench occupied by no more than a single girl on a cell phone, so he sat on the other side.

Eli finished her convo with Jess and noticed a boy sitting on the bench with her. Eli smiled at the boy then continued to watch people pass by.

Alex flipped through one of his comic books, his dark hair falling into his eyes as he bent his head down to read.

Jess finally arrived and saw Eli sitting next to a guy. She ran towards Eli and they gave eachother a hug. She sat down next to Eli and started talking really loud. "Who's the emo dude?" she said, referring to Alex.
"Jess!" Eli said, she turned to Alex and stated, "I am soooooooooo sorry! She didn't mean that. Did you Jess?"
"Whatev." she said.

Alex closed his comic, marking his page with a finger, and looked up at them. "Emo dude? Really?" he said skeptically. "You didn't have any better material?"

Jess made her eyes wide-eyed and looked like she wanted to talk some sense into that boy. "Yeah, emo dude! You mad?"
Eli rolled her eyes at her, "Don't mind her. She's just being herself," she said to the boy, "But nice comeback." she smiled.
Jess sighed.

"Not at all. Disappointed actually. Here I am, sitting alone, with nothing but a comic book for company? There's all kinds of material there! Emo's poorly overused." Alex said.

Jess was now fuming, "Oh you think you can come up with something better, now do you?"
"Jess, don't..." Eli began.
"No, let's see what he's got. Talking his big talk, with no action!"
"You don't have to listen to her." Eli said. "By the way, the name's Eli. What's your name?"

"I don't see how my name is any of your business. But if your friend here's so smart, maybe she can guess it." Alex said, standing and ready to leave.

Jess got up and stood right in front of Alex's face. She looked him up and down and then steadied her eyes on his eyes. "Well you're one defensive person, I can tell you that. Your name must be Alex."

Eli just sat there silent.

((I commented))

"Nice guess." Alex said, then continued on his way.

((where's he going))

Jess smirked then sat back on the bench.

Eli said to her, "Why'd you have to go start something with that kid?"

((IDK. I just got a feeling he didn't much like Jess))

Alex continued on his walk, trying to get to know his new town.

((okay))

"What? He had it coming. I just sensed something off about him." Jess explained.

"That's called judging a book by its cover Jess. It's not recommended."

"Call it what you want. I just have a bad feeling about him." Jess said. "But enough about him. What did you want to see me about?"

Alex wandered around town.

Eli sighed, "Oh, just wanted to hang with ya that's all."

Jess smiled, "Than what you sitting around for? Let's go hang." she said taking Eli's hand and lifting her off the bench.

Alex eventually stopped in a park.

Eli got up and followed Jess.

Jess walked Eli all the way to a nearby park, not knowing Alex was there.

At the park, Alex sat under a tree to finish reading his comic.

"You wanna have fun? Let's have fun then!" Jess said, walking quickly.

"But, where are you going?" Eli asked, regretting calling Jess to come after all.

"You'll see." she said walking up to a bunch of guys that were just hanging around.

Alex flipped through the pages quietly.

Jess reached the group of guys and started talking to them.

Eli just stood around not knowing what to do.

Then one of the guys came up to her, "Hey. You wanna have some fun?" he asked.

"Sure." Eli said.

The guy whispered in Eli's ear.

Eli stood there shocked but then nodded and headed over to where a kid sat under a tree. ((that's alex))

Alex did his best to ignore whoever walked by, not looking up.

Eli got to the tree and then started screaming.

Jess turned to where Eli stood and rushed over. "What was that for? Eli you okay?"

"I'm fine. It's nothing." Eli said

"Okay well-" then Jess noticed Alex. "We meet again." she said with a smirk.

Alex looked up. "So it would seem."

Jess sat down next to Alex on the grass and pointed to his book, "Which comic is that?" she asked.

Eli just stood there.

"Angel: After the Fall." Alex replied.

"Never heard of it." Jess said reaching for the comic. "Mind if I take a look?"

Eli came and sat down with them.

((I commented))

Alex handed it to her hesitantly.

Jess took the comic and flipped through the pages. "Seems boring! Got anything else to do?" she said tossing the comic in the air.

Eli jumped up and caught it before it hit the floor, "Jess!... Here you go Alex." she said handing ti to him, "Jess is sorry. Aren't you Jess?"

Jess rolled her eyes.

Alex snatched the book back and hopped to his feet. "You, Jess, are a menace to society and the sane!" Alex said angrily, then he stomped off, hoping to find a better location.

((doesn't seem like this rp is getting anywhere. when r the characters gonna interact with each other?? lol))

"Love you too!" she screamed back to Alex. Then she turned to Eli, "Why do you insist on always protecting that guy? I'm your friend here."

"Seriously, Jess... do you not see anything wrong with the way you interact with the human race?" Eli said matter-of-factly.

Jess laughed, "Okay, point taken. But what gives with you and Alex?"

Eli looked towards the ground, "I kinda have a crush on him...?" she said softly.

Jess raised her eyebrow, "I see." she said.

((IDK. The characters don't seem to be mixing well. I don't think Alex - a mild character - would like Jess. And Eli doesn't say much. So what's his motive for sticking around?))

Alex read in a different part of the park.

((ok))

Jess went back to the group of guys that were standing around and talked to them.

Eli decided to go find Alex.

Alex did his best to ignore the world.
