Have you ever wondered how a writer works? Tea or coffee? Music or no music? door closed or door open? Ask me here!

Alek Cristea (cyber_spines) I am curious about the music or no music, as I can't write with no music to save my life but I am really picky about what I listen to!

Almost always music. What I listen to varies, depending on the mood I'm in or the mood I'm trying to create. Film soundtracks, instrumental and classical music work better than songs with lyrics at the minute: Ludovico Einaudi is getting a lot of airtime.

When I find something that works, it goes on repeat, then because it's familiar I can tune it out and it becomes the aural equivalent of a nice warm bath. If I had to keep stopping and picking a new album it would interrupt the flow too much.
