hehe yeah I just recommended this book to everyone ;) so what do you gals think?

I'm getting close to the end of the book, LOVING it so far. Anyone else reading it?

Oh and one thing that has been bugging me. I don't like it when a character is described in too much detail, but I don't think hair color has been mentioned once in the entire book. Did I miss it?

On a more random note, Duval has, in my mind, taken on the appearance of Benedict Cumberbatch. Probably because several of the movies I've watched lately had him in it...

I'm new to the group and had planned to read this book this month. But I'm still on the wait list at the library at #16. There's 7 copies in the system which means it maybe 3 weeks before I get the book. Glad everyone seems to be loving it. I'll get to read it later.

I'm 1/3 into it and LOOOOVE it. Right up our Poison Study alley. Thank you Alethea for suggesting it.

Kimberly that's hilarious b/c I literally am in the middle of watching Sherlock for the first time. Now I'm not going to be able to get Cumberbatch out of my mind. Blond or brunette version?

Just started reading this a few hours ago! :DD I hope it's as good as what everyone is saying. After a couple of 'meh' books, I'm looking forward to a good one.

LOL! Ok so I'm not the only one with Cumberbatch-head. Though honestly I like his auburn (natural) hair best. Yep, he's a ginger... I totally want to read this again. I really liked the side characters and found myself second-guessing whether they were on her side or not. I kept reversing my positions! Good guy, no wait--bad guy. NO wait! I think this is a good guy. But...

I loved it!

Thank you for choosing this book. I was hooked from the first page. I am excited that there is a second book I am not ready to be done with these characters. I really liked how Esmae evolved through the story and look forward to more in this world.

Yay! I'm so glad you liked it... I want to read it again but I don't have time right now, lol!
