I am an author.
I currently have four works in print.

I have a new novel coming out in 2013. Wren Romany is a bounty hunter, tracker, knife-throwing expert, and one tough woman. She seeks shelter for the winter and finds a mismatched bunch of outcasts who need her. The leader is an heir to a disgraced title and an emotionally scarred veteran. He needs more than just someone to help with the chronic food shortage. Wren prods him to take action to fix the whole situation with explosive results.
My current WIP is titled Duty. The heroine is Brielle Solarius, the leader of an isolated village on the eastern border of Rhynan just trying to survive the end of a civil war. Her world is turned upside down when a battalion of soldiers ride into the village one bleak autumn morning. The leader, the newly titled Duke of Irvaine, makes some pretty astounding claims, not the least of which is that she is his wife by proxy marriage. Brielle is faced with the first of many difficult decisions regarding duty and loyalty.

Oh, I disagree, Rachel. You are pretty darn awesome. As a writer, cover designer, and a friend. I think that qualifies you for general awesomeness. ;O)

I'm published by mainstream, educational, and independent houses (that last being our own imprints), and I usually write in collaboration with my husband, Wim Coleman. Our latest book is Mayan Interface, a visionary fiction/thriller to be out in September. We'll do a giveaway soon, but I'll send a paperback advance copy to the first 3 from this group who want to review it. Just let me know and give me a mailing address in the US or Canada.

i read your Queen of Avenrae book and I enjoyed it quite a bit. You have a nice writing style that makes it easy to get into the book and just enjoy reading it.

Your book sounds interesting. I am adding it to my TBR list. I've not read anything like it and I love trying new book styles.

Connected Regency romances:

Heartless is unavailable at the moment, however, as it is undergoing a bit of editing and a cover revamp. There are several more titles in this "series" that will eventually reach publication. More info can be found here: http://www.jaimeygrant.com/regency-se...
Short story anthologies in which some of my stories appear. Eliza's Epiphany in Whispered Beginnings is Regency romance; Assassin's Keeper in Unlocked is Regency fiction; Survival in Unlocked is fantasy.

Unlocked can be downloaded for free from www.unlockedproject.com.
This one is fantasy of a dragon-like nature:

And I don't know why the cover looks like total crap here. Huh.
I have two serial romances, both Regencies, that I'm writing too:

The 11th Commandment is being written exclusively for InD'Tale Magazine, a romance periodical geared toward the indie crowd. www.indtale.com Subscriptions are free.
My Lady Coward started out as one short story and then developed into more. More info can be found here: http://www.jaimeygrant.com/my-lady-co...
I also design book covers. My gallery is at www.anauthorsart.com. I like that almost as much as writing.
Whew. If anyone wants info on any of the things I've mentioned here, please ask. I may have just worn out my welcome with this post. :OP
I have a question about the connected regency romances. I've only read Honor so far. Which one would you say comes next, or are they not really in any particular order? I'm really looking forward to reading about Bri. :)

:O)

DragonFly

Synopsis of DragonFly:
A young woman with the fate of a nation in her hands.
An aircraft designed by science, fueled by magic and flown with passion.
A World War re-imagined like never before.
In 1942, an unlikely heroine changes the course of history.
On the eve of invasion by the Nazis, twenty-two year old RAF pilot Veronica ‘Ronnie’ Somerset is determined to overcome every obstacle to become Britain’s first female combat pilot.
When Ronnie is re-assigned to Enysfarne, a mysterious Royal Navy base off the coast of Cornwall, fate places her inside the cockpit of the most revolutionary aircraft ever invented... the DragonFly, a remarkable fighter-bomber that carries the hopes of Britain on its blue and silver wings.
Reichsführer Bernhardt Morax, leader of the Third Reich’s Zauber Korps, prepares his Blutskriegers for the invasion of Britain... bio-mechanical warriors created by a depraved occult science whose dark secrets cross the boundaries of evil.
Will the Druid wizard, Affodill - whose ancestral home of Enysfarne has been expropriated by the Royal Navy - join forces with the British, or will he make a pact with the evil Morax? Can Princess Victoria and Ronnie Somerset convince Affodill to place his magic in the service of a nation that has betrayed his Druid ancestors for centuries?

Just looked out of the window and saw a courier wandering around looking tired, hungry and lost. I knew exactly who he was looking for... I signed for the package, gave him the rest of my toast and ran back indoors...
This morning I got a paperback copy of my first novel; 'The Miracle Adjuster'. 2nd happiest day of my life after the birth of my daughter (and that was only 3 months ago so 2016 is turning out to be a pretty good year).

Nothing more to say except, dreams do come true, so get hold of one for yourself and keep working at it...
P.S. If you'd like to read the 1st chapter of my book then you can find it at my blog on my author page or copy and paste the link bit.ly/2aLapfC

My novel ‘The Miracle Adjuster’ is now available on Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk in paperback or ebook for Kindle amzn.to/2bXKodT
Here’s a couple of cherry-picked quotes from the first reviews:
“…a journey through a psychedelic drug induced dream sequence; almost new age Monty Pythonesque”.
“The Miracle Adjuster exists in an Orwellian fantasy world full of off-beat characters, situations and humour. The writing style is excellent; the imagination is fantastic and it’s a very clever novel”.
You can still enter the Goodreads giveaway to win 1 of 20 signed copies at bit.ly/2aYNIEk and you can find the first chapter on my Goodreads blog at bit.ly/2aLapfC

I have 10 free copies of The Miracle Adjuster to exchange for honest reviews. Message me if you’re interested.
