Hey guys,

For July with the Olympics around the corner, I thought it was time to drum up some national pride and join in with some sporting events as such from the reading world.

There are 204 countries participating in the olympics, with Great Britain, USA, Ghana, Germany and Austria just to name a few.

My idea if that you'll take a country and then you'll name a book to the letters of the title. The difficulty will be down to you with whichever country length you choose.

Access to all 204 countries can be found here or here.

However to change things up there will be a couple of rules.

1. You must read a book that's either set in YOUR OWN country or written by an author of your nationality.

or

1a. Read a book set in the country you've chosen or the author is that nationality of the country you've chosen.

Either of those two options are acceptable for the 1st book.

2. Read a book that has some mention of sport, since it's all about the sporting events. It doesn't have to be an olympic event, it could just be the word "run" in the title or even some old fashioned medieval mace throwing (I'm not sure if that existed), but one book has to mention sport on the title, on the cover, related in the book.

Obviously the title or author of your book must match up with the letter of your chosen country.

Such as:

G ame of Thrones by George R.R. Martin

Otherwise, have fun and take part.

Any you'd liked, since then it depends on how many books you want to read, I'll leave that one up to you.

Fresh from the success of completing last month's challenge I've decided to give this a try. I'll probably struggle to find a sport based book.

For those interested, Belize( formerly British Honduras ) is a small country in central America. The estimated population is around 330 000. They gained independence from the United Kingdom in 1981. They are one of 16 members of the Commonwealth of Nations, of which the reigning monarch is Elizabeth II. English is the official language.

As of now, they are due to have two athletes represent them at this years Olympic Games.

Why have I chose them?. No reason really, except that they have both a Z and an E in there name.
