Books Without Borders discussion

I wanted to let everyone know how the results came out for the polls.

The votes that came in decided that:

We will "read together." Meaning that the book will be split up into portions and each portion will be "assigned" for the week of the month the book is being read.

We will have volunteers for "hosting" duties. If you would like to volunteer to host a month, please let me know what month you would like to host. Hosts choose the book for the month. The book choice should be announced 2 weeks before the host month begins so everyone can acquire the book.

Hosts will also be responsible for breaking down the book and leading discussions. At least, that's what the poll decided. I'm going to give that option to the host of the month. If you would like to break up the book sections and lead the weekly discussions, you are welcome. If you don't want that responsibility, just let me know and I'll handle the book responsibilities for that month.

Does this all make sense?

Now, does anyone want to volunteer to host August? If I don't get any volunteers by Tuesday, 17JULY I will host for August.

And please let me know if you would like to take a month and host. I look forward to trying out this new way of doing things.
