Magnus has been announced! He is a actor and model, he loves the books and is Southeast Asian, because his mom is Peranakan Malaysian And his dad is Shanghainese. Cassie sounds very excited.....wbu?

He is so HOT! I'm excited for the movie because of him. :D

Ok, so Kevin Zeger has been confirmed as Alec. And in my opinion, Kevin with long hair is twenty times hotter than Jamie/Jace. They should've saved him for Will if they make a Infernal Devices movie!! They've also cast Madame Dorthea, Luke, and Brother Zachariah.

Umm i dont know...its not really the Magnus i had in mind...

I think he could work out for Magnus:). I always imagined Magnus as someone like Adam lambert!XD

The only problem is Adam Lambert is white! He would of made a good Magnus but he is meant to be dark skinned and of Asian heritage and there being very secretive with his look...they only played his voice on the trailer they didn't actually show him in costume and no stills yet either so I can't wait to see him

“Magnus’ extravagant style of dress and makeup was quite the hot topic when I arrived to shoot in Toronto. All the glitter, nail polish, eye-liner and the outfits combined made Magnus the character that everyone loves and envisioned in their minds,” Gao said. “While I never spent more than 30 minutes for hair and makeup, the results for Magnus’ style … let’s just say the hair, makeup and costume team/departments did a fantastic job of styling my character, and I enjoyed every single moment of transforming into Magnus! The warlock outfit with the black cape and hoody was very intriguing as well!”

I am just going to say this...I waited and refreshed my computer screen for an hour until the picture was released and I just about died/fainted. He is so sexy/gorgeous. He's the perfect Magnus and really love what they did with the actor.

Camille doesn't appear until the fourth book: City of Fallen Angels so she won't be in City of Bones but Clare commented how if they make a second movie, Raphael will be in it.

I love Godfrey Gao as Magnus, but I find it kinda odd how he is the hottest person in the cast. From reading the book, I always thought Jace was the hottest.

I think he looks exactly like Magnus, but was disappointed by his role in the movie.

His acting was not great in my opinion. I always imagined him to be more expressive and sassy. But that's just my opinion.

I agree. I think he looks the part, but he didn't really give off that signature Magnus vibe. But I liked him all the same.
