Anyways, Let us know what you thought of it (:

Leslie | 13 comments I guess I will start. I am very impressed with this book. I was surprised to find it in the YA section of the public library, cause I'm not gonna lie, there were certain sections that I had to read more than once to understand. Specifically when the author is breaking down more abstract concepts of the world economy. It's refreshing that he doesn't "dumb it down" too much for the characters. I am someone who knows a bit about economics and almost nothing about MMPOG's? Is that right? But I find myself, surprisingly, keeping up and rooting for all the characters.
It's obvious that the story is headed for one of those galactic climaxes, but despite that, I am still chomping at the bit to see what happens. I also like the fact that the author doesn't seem to be afraid to use his characters to highlight abuse that is perpetrated against children throughout the world. So many authors back down from this kind of topic or portray children as if they are ignorant of the abuses being heaped on them. It's characters man!

Karina Ooh, I like what I am hearing. Now I am more interested in reading it!!

Karina I am reading it right now. I am about 80 pages in and still not so sure where the story is headed but it's interesting so far!

Because it discusses issues I didn't expect to find in a YA book, which I think is great actually! And like Leslie said up there, he doesn't dumb it down. I think it is interesting what the author did with the book though. (You'll see what I mean when you guy read it!)
Random: it is making me want to play some video games XD

I am still not done with it though. (Hopefully I can finish it tomorrow)

Right now my only complain is that he brings up a few different characters and I am getting confused but maybe it is because I keep taking long periods of time in between reading.

When do you guys plan to start it?
