ARVRLS Book Club discussion

At the last adult book club meeting, people were talking about a local author who used to teach in the area who had written two novels. Both were historical fiction, I think. Could anyone tell me the title or author of the books?

The book is called "A Single Drop of Ink" and the author is Carla Ramsey Weeks. She did a book signing at the Dardanelle Library in June and is coming back to speak after the book club reads the book.
