Very much enjoyed Torn. The character is not some kick ass never-gets-tired, never cries, nor is she some whiny cry baby. She is strong and she has weak moments, as we all do. i appreciated the way the history of the story was told in a series of flash backs to keep the story moving forward instead of having the reader trudge through just to get to the "real' story. I wll be waiting for the second book to see how this plays out. thank you, Christine, for taking the time to write this and for allowing us to benefit from your hard work.

I enjoyed reading this book. It had adventure, suspense, twists and turns and a little love. :) I thought the writing was done well; it was not dry and was descriptive enough, without going overboard.Samantha bugged me a little at the beginning. She seemed to be very clueless about everything. I know she had been 'protected', but it was a little extreme. She was so shocked and surprised about everything that happened in her life, and had not clue; but yet did not seem surprised to have a special 'gift' of being able to control stuff with her mind. This, she just casually excepted and hid from everyone.
As I said before, I did enjoy the book and look forward to reading where it goes from here.

It goes more into the story of Sebastian being the real reason for the fall of the angels. My next book, however, isn't a paranormal. It's women's fiction titled Three Days of Rain that should be out in January.

Synopsis -
