K.A. Jordan (kajordan) | 3042 comments Scotsman Ian Mathie, author of 'Bride Price', 'Man in a Mud Hut', and 'Supper with the President' has graciously read, written and posted a review for 'Swallow the Moon'.

Ian isn't your average Paranormal Romance Reader, but then, my friends, niether are any of you. Kench.

Anyways, I'm pleased to share this with you.

Patricia (patriciasierra) | 2388 comments That's a long review. Any spoilers in it?

Andre Jute (andrejute) | 4851 comments Mod
You're moving up in the world, Kat. That's a better class of reviewer.

K.A. Jordan (kajordan) | 3042 comments Ian's a friend from Linked In. We've traded books before. I like his memoires.

I teased him that he can now tell people that he's read Paranormal Romance and it isn't all 'Twilight.'

Don't think so...I re-checked. I don't see any.

Ian likes my work - he loved "Let's Do Lunch" in spite of the fact it's little better than a Harlequin in some respects. He sent me a lovely email telling me more of what he liked.

I find it very odd that I have more male reviewers than female. I think the media is right when they say that Romance reading is a secret vice for guys.

Sharon Tillotson (storytellerauthor) | 1802 comments Nope, no spoilers really.

Nice review, Kat! As Andre says you are movin' on up in the world. Nice to see!

Interesting that you have made contacts on LinkedIn. I joined a few years ago as it was mandatory I do so to join an event. I've only ever been half-hearted about it. Shows to go that is never a good modus operendi, kench...

K.A. Jordan (kajordan) | 3042 comments There was a nice writers group named after a very old scotch that starts with an "L" Laprough? maybe? Anyways - I was the only Indie at that point. But we all talked about it in a friendly way. A few had extensive backlist they published a bit at a time. I think everyone did fairly well.

Now I think Ian is the only holdover to trade publishing. He's done very well - 5 books.

K.A. Jordan (kajordan) | 3042 comments Thank you!

Ian also sent me an email praising the way I wrote the magic, spirits and the PTSD scenes. I guess he's had run ins with socerors and such. So I'm pleased he feels I got that part right.

He also sent me a Google Map of Ashtabula and Bridge Street. It was clear I got him hooked. Not bad for a Paranormal Romance, eh?

I'll have to come back to make this a real tweet. I'm at a coffee shop, so my concentration is not good.

K.A. Jordan (kajordan) | 3042 comments Got a 5-star

RIVETING

COULD not put this one down! A little bit of Wiccan magic, a wounded warrior, a haunted motorcycle, and a murdering drug ring keep the suspense and plot twists rolling. Add in some romance and you've got a perfect read.

I was not sure about this story when I first started it. I really enjoyed how it kept me guessing.

K.A. Jordan (kajordan) | 3042 comments Got a 5-STAR

I rec'd this book as a free kindle from Book Basset on Amazon. Thank you Book Basset.

Now let me tell you- this book has it all and more - I started reading this thinking it was a romance book. Boy was I wrong.

June wants to find her one true love and she is tried of waiting for him. She is a Wicca- so on this perfect night she goes out into the field to summon her one true love- what she summons is her love and a couple spirits. Here is where the story really gets interesting...

See Eric Macmillan has return from the afghan war - his wife left him as she could not take not knowing what was gonna happen to him. After awhile he has decide he needs a change he finds this awesome motorcycle. So he has set out to find himself. That's when he was run off the road and June came to his rescue.

She calls the police -he goes to the hospital- the bike goes into her garage. The next day he comes to stay at her place. Now this bike it has a mind of it's own. And it doesn't like June- nope Cora just doesn't like her one bit. See everyone that has anything to do with this bike ends up dead. The original owner Cora - The DEA agent Jake - and now it wants Eric.

June's true love ends up being Jake but she falls in love with Eric- as to how this works out- and which one does she end up with. For that you will have to read the book. And I must say YOU HAVE TO READ THE BOOK!!!
