I haven't figured out if escaping into a book is completely healthy, but it keeps me sane(r). :)

some people get an acquired taste for paranormal fantasy, while others just dont take the time to understand it. i was thrust into it. my freshman year of high school, twilight came out in the theaters and i saw it. i thought it was so awesome that i went and read the book (took me only a day and a half)... after i finished it, i had to to read the rest. when i read the saga, i thought to myself,"you know, i really am intrigued by vampires and werewolves and ghosts and aliens. i have to read more about them." this led to my love of paranormal fantasy... suddenly, it wasn't just for fun anymore. i read because i NEEDED to read. if i didn't read a little each day, i went completely nuts! i had to come to the realization that... i was addicted. and the rest is history.

Margaret Hoffmann Thomas Perry, Robert Crais, Cornelia Read, CJ Box, Lee Child, David Mamet, Elmore Leonard,..... all writers who make me want to read and to WRITE. (Better!)
