"Really hyped to read this book because for years now a good friend has been threatening bloody murder if I passed it up.
So far I've only had time before bed to start reading it, so I've only seen the maps and some of the character descriptions (it's really cool to have Dramatis Personae pages, more books should have a list of notable characters right at the front for those of us with horrible memories.)"

Robert Frost
“In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on.”
Robert Frost

Socrates
“The unexamined life is not worth living.”
Socrates

Robert Fulghum
“I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge. That myth is more potent than history. That dreams are more powerful than facts. That hope always triumphs over experience. That laughter is the only cure for grief. And I believe that love is stronger than death.”
Robert Fulghum, All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten: Uncommon Thoughts On Common Things

Oscar Wilde
“The truth is rarely pure and never simple.”
Oscar Wilde, The Importance of Being Earnest

Marianne Williamson
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
Marianne Williamson, A Return to Love: Reflections on the Principles of "A Course in Miracles"
