"Ursule's daughter Leonie has grown into a young woman, and was just married to a young man called Louis. Reading the scene of the marriage made me feel strangely sad, because for majority of Ursule's story she had been searching for a daughter, and air to her magic, but now she is gone. Leonie never really cared for her mothers "gypsy ways" and is now married and moved out of their cottage, leaving Ursule alone again" — Apr 07, 2025 08:28AM

“Dr. King's policy was that nonviolence would achieve the gains for black people in the United States. His major assumption was that if you are nonviolent, if you suffer, your opponent will see your suffering and will be moved to change his heart. That's very good. He only made one fallacious assumption: In order for nonviolence to work, your opponent must have a conscience. The United States has none.”
