"This book is unbearably slow and full of nonsense conversations and speculations that don't end up mattering at all. Yes, Mrs. Bates is annoying. We get it. Just say she "rattled on about nothing, not letting anybody else speak for the duration of an hour." instead of making us sit through the ordeal with Emma. 😅 From what I remember of the movies and series, this story really only picks up at the very end." — Oct 10, 2019 07:47PM
