But that is why we live here, without family or female companionship, without riches or reward, without the temptations that would make us susceptible to such corruption.
NerdWhoLovesToRead
But how will you learn and grow without those temptations🤷🏻‍♀️ if you really need shielding from such corruption, it just means youre weak and not mentally strong enough. Those very corruptions are what would make you grow.. make you stronger. Being able to stand against those temptations despite having them exposed to you is what truly makes you worthy 🤷🏻‍♀️

Elie Wiesel
“The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference. The opposite of art is not ugliness, it's indifference. The opposite of faith is not heresy, it's indifference. And the opposite of life is not death, it's indifference.”
Elie Wiesel

Erich Fromm
“A person who has not been completely alienated, who has remained sensitive and able to feel, who has not lost the sense of dignity, who is not yet "for sale", who can still suffer over the suffering of others, who has not acquired fully the having mode of existence - briefly, a person who has remained a person and not become a thing - cannot help feeling lonely, powerless, isolated in present-day society. He cannot help doubting himself and his own convictions, if not his sanity. He cannot help suffering, even though he can experience moments of joy and clarity that are absent in the life of his "normal" contemporaries. Not rarely will he suffer from neurosis that results from the situation of a sane man living in an insane society, rather than that of the more conventional neurosis of a sick man trying to adapt himself to a sick society. In the process of going further in his analysis, i.e. of growing to greater independence and productivity, his neurotic symptoms will cure themselves.”
Erich fromm, The Art of Being

James Baldwin
“I imagine one of the reasons people cling to their hates so stubbornly is because they sense, once hate is gone, they will be forced to deal with pain.”
James Baldwin, The Fire Next Time

Winston S. Churchill
“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”
Winston S. Churchill

Albert Einstein
“Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.”
Albert Einstein
