Had to stop reading because for once, the book is the thing keeping me awake. Book too good, can't sleep

May as well go again, this time with audiobook. The first half of this year is not great for the amount of spoons I have for reading

I've been reading this slowly because I've been falling asleep easily this week (I mostly only read ebooks at bedtime) but I'm genuinely not sure how I'm going to pick my next book. This has a vibe that I'm adoring, especially with the villain found family aspect, and I think I'm actively going to miss these characters until--JFC FEBRUARY??? ***cries***

This book is constant amazing lines which are either introspective knives to the reader's back or sick burns like this:

"I loved that face once. I love it still, I think. As much as you can love your greatest disappointment."
