Kit and Collins have such a special dynamic. From the start, there are several different layers to their relationship, and as the book progresses those evolve and adapt and strengthen. In addition to their own individual journeys, I got to include a lot of tender, romantic moments. I also LOVE writing banter, and this book has some of my favorite lines.

“I’m not having sex with you."
Kit smirks. “If I had a dollar for every time you’ve said that to me, I’d be rich.”

“I can’t believe the first time I’m going to see Collins since being inside her is as my fucking assistant.”

I included some tropes in Collins and Kit’s story that I’d never written before, which is always a fun challenge as an author. This was also the first time I’d written more than three books set in the same world. Getting to revisit places mentioned in previous books from a new perspective is always fun.
