Things are getting really interesting, but this book is a bit too back-heavy. So much happening as we near the end & some of it really needed more time to develop & sit with readers for full emotional payoff (like Dawoud). Events in the first two-thirds could definitely have been streamlined down to feel less like filler & give all the juicy end-game content some more breathing room.
