I'm childfree & have no maternal instincts or desires but the way I BAWLED when this woman lost her baby. OMG. She went to the grocery store & the cashier said: "Where's your new baby." & she said: "Dead" & the woman said: "Oh, honey, I'm so sorry. Sometimes God needs a new rose for his garden." At which point the author wrote: "F*ck God & his garden of dead babies." Possibly the most brilliant line I've ever read.
