Comics artist Steve Dillon died today. Best known for his many collaborations with Garth Ennis particularly their series Preacher, he was also the definitive Punisher artist to me. Always loved his work, so sad that he’s gone - 53 is too fucking young. 2016 strikes again - damn this year. RIP Steve Dillon, 1962-2016.

Apparently he might have died from food poisoning, which just makes this worse. :(

So according to Garth Ennis, or so the New York Times obituary says, Dillon died from a ruptured appendix, which Steve first thought was food poisoning. If that's true, then fuck that's an excruciating way to go :( (I've had appendicitis, and nearly died because of that worse-than-useless organ).
