I am currently 17,889 words in (according to Word Count). I am also quite enjoying the writing of this novel.
That being said, it will likely be completed and released WAY before November (assuming no unforeseen setbacks as I am a fairly quick writer when I focus on a work).
Will this be a monster novel like the Rebellion books were?
I don't know.
I simply make each book as long as it needs to be.

Oh my brain, my brain, my brain! (laugh)
I am getting WAY too involved in this torrid, angsty story and rather than wrapping it up, even more chapters have managed to worm their way in!
Oh but they are JUICY! So, so juicy and I thus I simply can not resist. Unfortunately, this is going to put me behind another 2 weeks.

Ok, So I'm back at work...AGAIN and likely to finish this month (though I'll have to let it marinate for a couple of weeks afterwards for the purposes of editing and deciding if I like it as is).

This has been a super frustrating week as I've severely injured my right index finger. Typing (pecking) is slow, frustrating and full of typos. In short, my typing can't keep up with my brain and handwriting is impossible and illegible in this finger splint. (sad face)
Progress has ground to a halt.

Ok. So I've been hanging out in horror/fantasy land for quite a while now.
As I have some directional considerations I'm still working on with The Pack 2, I've decided to switch gears and work on this book instead - whose entire series is largely written in my head.

32,000 words and maybe about 1/2 way finished.Sedition certainly seems to be heading the way of Rebellion in as far as length.
I'm still plugging along as best as I can in the midst of a month long Monsoon and a leaking roof (with more rains and possible flooding to come).
Typical for May is about 4.5" of rain. Current for May is 11". Last year's total rainfall was about 19" as is the projected for this year. This month alone, we're at 57% of the total for the year. Let that sink in.
I'm riding with a temporary patch as with the constant rains it's not safe to go up there to do the permanent repair. Wish me luck!
Word count puts me at 26,131 words.
