I'm at 80,000 words! HUZZAH! This book is definitely a slow burn so get ready for it, and as far as how it's falling on the "dark" scale (which is very much subjective and dependent on how a person engages individually) it's feeling similar to Hooked.

Also, the way their love story is unfolding? It's just so pure and makes me giddy, idk how to explain it lmao

My MC's are making me SWOON!

Their connection feels so raw & real to me. There's an impatience I'm feeling whenever I'm *not* writing them, almost a sense of urgency to hurry back to their world so I can be in their heads and have that butterfly in your stomach, can't help but grin when you think about them type of feeling.

Can't wait until you meet them! *cries in impatience*

I'm over 50K words and my first draft is always a goal for 100,000, so whoop!

This book is feeling like a slow burn so far, so prepare yourselves. They haven't done the bang bang yet, but the tension is TENSION-ing which is why I love writing slow burns so much. That and I love to torture you.

I'm fully in my chemo hole, but I'm happy with hitting my word count goals this round despite being heavily medicated lmao
