Hello!
I'm putting together a bibliography of gay cozy mysteries.
The books MUST fit the strict criteria of no on-screen sex, no onscreen violence, and no obscenity. The protagonist must be gay--supporting cast members do not count. And, last but not least, the books must have an unmistakably cozy mystery vibe.
These are rules, not guidelines.
Your help is needed. Your suggestions are welcome!

Okay, let me take a look. They sound more like spy things than cozy mysteries?

Yes, the requirements for an actual cozy mystery are almost zen in their preciseness. 😉

I remember those! I even reviewed a few back in the day for I Love a Mystery.

I ended up putting the list on hold because so many of the recs were just way off the mark, and I don't have time to skim let alone read that many contenders. Eventually, I hope to get around to completing it, but I don't have a couple of weeks to spare now.

Fair enough.

— From the author — The Last Picks is a set of twelve cozy mysteries (plus a collection of short stories) about Dash's adventures in Hastings Rock.
Hastings Rock is a small tourist town located on the Oregon Coast. It's full of charming shops, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, and teeming with murderers for Dash and his friends to catch.
Many of my readers have come to refer to the larger world of my interconnected stories as the Hazardverse - the universe where the Hazard and Somerset Mysteries, the Borealis Investigations, the First Quarto, the Lamb and the Lion, and the Luka Meer stories are set. Hastings Rock is part of this story universe, which means there's always the chance that a familiar face might wander through.
Sorry you had some not great recs!!
