It took me 3 hours 30 minutes to read 28 pages, including noting the footnotes directly among the lines (the book doesn't offer this), reading the footnotes, referring to the Glossary as directed by the footnotes, looking up some Bible verses, and making my own marginalia. It's a long time for 28 pages, but it's worth it!
