Aminata Coote It varies. Sometimes I take a break from what I'm working on and write something just for writing's sake (writing prompts are helpful for this). Other times I force myself to write anyway (maybe by focusing on another area of what I'm working on I can push past the block). And sometimes I take a break from writing and read or watch a movie.
Aminata Coote Inspiration comes from a lot of places: books, movies, songs, conversation...I try to write the ideas down when they come.
Aminata Coote It concerns me that our girls don't seem to have enough strong, female role models who are trying to live godly lives.

Movies, books, and music videos teach our girls that their sexuality is a currency to be used. And then, they do but the price is too high. They trade their bodies and reap pain, grief and shame.

I hope Royal: Life Lessons from the Book of Esther will teach our girls that they are far more valuable than they may realize.
